Discussion: Should we fund this proposal?

The continued abuse of the Dash Boost voting and low turnout is showing that this is a failed experiment. Is it worthwhile to keep funding just to keep people quiet about not having access to voting? That is the decision here.

We don't have enough MNOs that pay attention to the big DAO and we already created a mini-DAO. I'm not sure if it makes sense anymore to have a mini-DAO if we are just copying the big DAO that still needs more attention and improvement.

The mini-DAO is a way to let smaller voters vote, MNO choose stay away at least with there voting power.
It's give smaller holders a change to do there part+it a great counter argument against trolls, that say Dash is only controlled by the oligarchy (aka MNO'ers.

Easy yes from me, I want to see dashboost grow. In fact it seems a better vehicle than Dash Central for funding proposals. Its a big world and we need to get thousands of micro-proposals funded. Marketing budget. Permanent staff. Project review team. Etc. Might seem a step too far, but thats how I feel about it.

i want ask MNO to vote for this proposal because pasta want to help these small communities that can't make a big proposal but for beginning to develop their community with small proposal, Dashboost is a key for these small communities. Strongly support.

Having a fund for precise activities, with low application costs gives access to equipment with few resources such as Africans or in Latin America can start projects and continue operating in their geographical areas.

What worries me is the management of malicious proposals. Proposals with a seductive marketing can make the votes are positive and deliveries do not exist or are tiny
What present and future measures are there to combat this?
You have my support.

Really it should be up to the voter to make sure that the proposer is a part of the community. Any proposal can also be escrowed through the DB team, though that only works for certain types of proposals with good milestones.

idea: this is very beneficial budget system to complement the main one. And how to get more yes votes? 259 away

So over the months the budget allocated to Dash Boost proposals has fluctuated depending on a number of different factors (donations, etc). How and why was the decision made for 100 Dash to be the standard? Previously the limit has been anywhere up to 15 Dash, and now 25? What was the thought process/testing/analysis that went in to choosing this as the upper limit for DB proposals? Will those numbers stay the same or will they fluctuate in the future according to market movements?

It really is a balancing act. I don't think there is a right answer to it. I think 15 is too low right now, and I think 25 will provide a better max and allow more significant proposals to use DashBoost.
100 was decided on as it allowed at least 4 significant proposals to get funded. These numbers will be adjusted based on the price, budget conditions, and feedback.
When it's all said and done it is a balancing act between the number of proposals we fund, the size of proposals we fund, and the amount of Dash we need from the treasury and other sources.

In the future I'd like to see some sort of consistent algorithm to ensure we don't have unnecessary creeping and to ensure it doesn't become a honeypot for scammers since it doesn't get as much scrutiny and due-diligence as the primary Treasury, but sure, makes sense. I was already going to vote in support of it, just wanted to better understand the reasoning, keep up the good work as always.

I am a huge fan of Dash Boost. I believe we will find a gem from these proposal owners who will become one of Dash's greatest projects. Of course there will be waste. There is always waste. MN are guilty of plenty of waste, don't even try to deny it.

The ultimate truth. Dash is exploring uncharted waters here. Never has anything like this been done. We are generating our own asset and giving to people as payment to help us create something.

I strongly encourage MN to support Dash Boost. The ability for people to start low and prove themselves is absolutely paramount. I believe that is the only way something like this project can succeed. There is someone out there, maybe the next Vitalik, still in highschool, who can ask for a small bit of money to build something useful from his bedroom.

Absolutely keep the small proposals alive. This is how we can find people.

Why is this budget proposal created so late in the voting cycle ? (only 6 days left to vote)

The passing of this proposal is testament to the fact that MNOs are paying attention, even late in a cycle!

a) We were hoping GC would finish their year end and reach out, they haven't.
b) We wanted to make sure our budget didn't bump out any other proposals, especially since our ask is flexible.
