Advertising in all other newspapers, magazines and online resources = about 1 million people a month.

Here is the real photo of our ad!
https://i.imgur.com/hH2OyjE.jpg

Considering the growing freight market in the US and Canada, and the fact that Vista Trans Holding is an experienced company operating on this market, a large number of potential investors, both small and large, can turn their attention to Dash. We will get the idea of Dash across to our partners, companies with which we cooperate and hold meetings to promote and develop the Dash network.

We are ready to give you our sites for advertising and we make a commitment to publicize the Dash Platform according to all of the above-mentioned points for 12 months!

Budget:

Our expenses on Dash advertising!

1) As you saw on the video and in the photo, one demonstration pasted truck with a trailer containing Dash ads costs $ 5900 (the price includes installation and uninstallation)
the price of pasting 100 trailers
Total = $ 590,000

2) Mud guards on trailers and trucks with the Dash logo (very often drivers lose them, so we take into account 2 sets per truck and trailer per year)
1 piece - $ 25
Per 100 trucks and 100 trailers, 800 mud guards are needed
Total = $ 20000

3) Outfit:
-150 drivers (50% of trucks - team drivers)
-60office workers
-10 workers at  service station
Total = 220 employees
-T-shirts: 5 items per person a year x 220 employees = 1100 x 15 $ per one t-shirt = $ 16500-
-Blazers: 1 piece per person a year x 220 employees = 220 items x $ 20 per item = $ 4400
-Winter jackets: 150 drivers + 10 service station workers  = 160 items x $ 50 per item  = $ 8000
-Working clothes: 10 service station workers - 3 items per person a year = 30 items x 70 $ = $ 2100
-Stationary
Total = $ 31000

4) Installation of 7 large screens in 7 offices
Total = $ 4900

5)The  "Beacons" radio transmitter, that will be in each of the trailers, and will advertise Dash on Android and iOS within a  300 feet radius, a  price of 1 piece - 45 $
Total = $ 4500

6) Advertisement on the Load Boards (360 TransCore, Link, Canada, stopping the Internet truck)

7) Put an advertisement in  "Truck Driver" magazine, which is distributed throughout all the US truck stations and is printed for the English- and Russian speaking drivers!
- "Truck paper" is also distributed across all truck stops.
-Place an advertisement with the Dash logo in all the newspapers where we advertise and invite drivers to cooperate with our company.

8) Return 5 Dash = $ 2125;

Total: $ 652 525

Vista Trans Holding expenses and compensation of the company: +25% of total amount = $ 163 131

Total Budget: $815 656
Total Dash Budget: 1919 Dash

It will take 2 months from the time of receiving the first payment to prepare and paste all the trucks of the company.After finishing pasting the last truck, our Dash advertisement will begin and it will last 12 months.

For this purpose, we apply for funding in the amount of 1919 Dash at an average rate according to April 425$ +-20% due to the unstable price on the cryptocurrency market.

Discussion: Should we fund this proposal?

Too expensive for only 1 month of advertising at 7K per vehicle. Would have been more tempting if it was 1 year the vehicles had the advertising on them.

Like others, I am impressed by the quality of your proposal. But I think it is a little bit premature. When Evolution launches, I would like to see this proposal again. At the moment, I would rather approve proposals that teach people how to open wallets, and to encourage merchants to accept Dash.

voting NO. We mainly need Dash in peoples wallets with payments happening or Dash development. Once Dash is easier to use with the coming Evolution releases, this proposal with some 'user' strategies might be great. Slick YT video! I love the grass roots trucking aspect! Thanks for your proposal and I look forward to seeing something from you guys in the future.

This does sound interesting but there is absolutely nothing in there about you accepting Dash. So as a pure marketing proposals i don't think there is any chance of this passing especially if you look at how many proposals we had the last months.

Sorry, definite NO from me.
Far too expensive and imo Dash needs to rethink its above-the-line advertising strategy before spending lumps of money out of treasury for marketing projects. Any major-budget advertising needs to demonstrate driving real-world adoption and be measurable, especially at the stage that Dash is at right now and an initiative like this is just not going to cut it.

Thanks,
Drako

Mark ting like this has proven to be quit unsuccessful
- So right now this should be an easy no

If you would come up with a plan which would include paying with Dash both for your business, and for your drivers than that would become interesting, but only if there is some way to ensure that you'll actually push smart and hard to use it and accept it. With a minimum amount of transaction done by your company and your drivers, if you did not meet your target money should be sent back. This can not be a good will thing, it needs to be with some sort of contract and penalty clause.

I see nothing about your company actually accepting Dash. If I were to ship something though your company or stop at one of your service stations with an employee wearing a Dash logo would I be able to actually pay in Dash?

Now if you were tell all your customers that you prefer to be paid in Dash and here's how they can get some, and told all your suppliers we prefer to pay in Dash here's how you can start accepting it and these are the advantages of doing so, that I would be interested in.

Very good points. Accepting Dash as payment method would be better.

Thank you for your interest in our project!

We came up with the idea of advertising Dash on our company's trailers in mid-May 2017,when Dash cost about $ 100.To set up our project we needed 8100-8300 Dash and at that time, it was difficult to obtain such funding.At the beginning of 2018,we returned to the idea of our project.First of all,we conducted a survey of all employees in our company to understand what they knew about cryptocurrencies such as:Bitcoin,Litecoin,Ethereum and Dash.
Answers impressed!

Office workers:
Bitcoin: 82% of such workers knew it, and 5 of them were engaged in mining
Ethereum: 73% of such workers knew it, and 5 of them were engaged in mining
Litecoin: 69% of office workers knew it
Dash: 61% knew it, but nobody was engaged in mining

Drivers and maintenance workers:
Bitcoin: 74% of them knew it, but were not involved in mining
Ethereum: 71% knew it, 6 of them were engaged in mining
Litecoin: 71% knew it, but nobody was engaged in mining
Dash: 47% knew it, but nobody was involved in mining

Based on these data, we decided to do this project in order to get the idea of Dash across to all categories of the population, and popularize among them not only the US dollar, but also the cryptocurrency such as Dash.

We were thinking about the number of trailers needed to start the project: 50, 100 or 200.The idea of 200 trailers was immediately dropped, because the Dash system budget would not allow us to allocate that amount of Dash to implement our plans and we had to decide upon the number of 100 trailers!

We calculated via GPS that, on average, 100 cars pass along all major highways and go through most big cities, over 100 times they visit petrol stations and almost every day they have loading up and unloading.

Now imagine some commercial of a good product, which is broadcast on television once a day.What are your chances to see this ad and decide to try this product?
The same thing is with the advertisement of Dash.Our drivers can meet one another twice or three times a day, which means that we can cover a large area a day and pass several times through the same place.

Compared to billboards, our ads are much cheaper and tenfold more effective.The prices of a Billboard advertisement vary depending on a state and city ranging from $ 1500-5000 per month.

The price list of billboard advertisement in the USA:
https://www.billboardsin.com/illinois/chicago/index.html

We suggest running a comprehensive advertisement on 100 trailers and doing everything that we have indicated in the proposals (the budget $815 656 divide by 100 trailers and divide by 12 months = $679 i.e. the of one trailers for a month of advertising and this advertisement is constantly moving in all the states of the US and Canada).

At the end of the year we need to pay from 20% of tax. If Dash continues to grow within 4 months ,accordingly, we will plaster the additional number of trucks in percentage correlation.

Our transport company is ready to become an official carrier of equipment for all Dash conferences in the territory of the USA and Canada.

After the end of 12-month deal, we can resume cooperation (the trailers are already plastered and so there will not be great spending for the Dash community as before).

Thanks for the interesting data and insight into your industry, and putting together the information and presentation. Having browsed some of your other videos, I must say your video production quality and presentation is impressive for a *trucking company*!

Was there a pre-proposal discussion about this? If you made a pre-proposal, you might get feedback on how to tweak the proposal for the best chance of success.

Did you consider using an escrow service? The community has been "burnt" on past proposals by proposers not following through. Also you might consider "locking in" to a flat fiat price, or explaining what would happen to excess or reduced funds due to currency fluctuation.

It does sound like you're familiar with the community though. Good that you broke the funding into multiple monthly amounts so as not to take up the whole budget.

Unfortunately, many in the community are concerned that big ads shouldn't come until after Evolution is released or the platform has matured more, perhaps in 6-12 months time or longer.

That said, this does look like a good way to raise broad awareness.... imagine driving on a highway and seeing that huge DASH truck driving by! Would definitely pique people's interest.

Also interested in what you said here:

"...Vista Trans Holding is an experienced company operating on this market, a large number of potential investors, both small and large, can turn their attention to Dash. We will get the idea of Dash across to our partners, companies with which we cooperate and hold meetings to promote and develop the Dash network."

Compared to airplanes, boxers, exchange giveaways, and marathons, this seems to have a much better cost/benefit ratio! Glad to see the quality of proposals increasing.

This is a very interesting proposal. It is expensive - ok. But if I compare it to some of the other expensive proposals it really has some real world foot print. I just imagine all the petrol stations who see the DASH logo every day. The drivers have a Shakepay debit card and may want to use it. The trucks are visible on the road every day. ...

Maybe start with 5-10 trucks first rather than the large proposal?
Also, the 25% overhead seems too high imho
I'm sure there's advertisers and escrow agents out there who could just apply for billboards or such with less administrative cost.

"At the end of the year we need to pay from 20% of tax."
I'd rather vote for a custodian who can spend the funds in a location as trustee without paying any taxes for those expenses if possible.
