pshenmic.dev Platform Explorer Funding Proposal April 2025

This is funding proposal for Platform Explorer from a pshenmic.dev DFO.

Progress

Last month, we have release a brand new search that now very interactive
and contains a multiple search results, allowing user to choose between
different results found. It supports searching by name and gives out the
result as soon as you starts typing.

We’ve introduced new filtering component on the frontend that let you filter
out results in the lists by different parameters. It is already available on the
transactions and blocks pages, but component is highly reusable, and will
soon appear in the rest of the lists on the website.

After that, the work on contested resources page have started, and we
already got first draft. It’s going pretty good, and we expect to finish it
sooner, then we will head straight to the implementation of the
masternode votes.

Plans

In May, we expect to finish Contested Resources and Masternode Votes
pages, that will show everything about past and ongoing polls and a masternode
votes, allowing you to explore, filter and search through them, and it will
work for both system and user-created data contracts.

The next, and last major feature that we left to do is Tokens,  and the protocol
support should be rolled out in the testnet with Dash Platform v2.0 very soon.
We already have everything prepared for it, we have designs and draft backend
branch, and right now we’re just waiting. 

However, it’s not going to implemented on frontend very quick, because Dash
Platform v2.0 contains a huge amount of changes and new structures. That will
introduce require new pages, elements, and changes in the current one (new state
transitions, data contract pages, tokens pages), thus it will require an extra month.
