Proposal description
pshenmic.dev Dash Platform Extension October 2025
https://chromewebstore.google.com/detail/dash-platform-extension/odmphbcnlldggfhcpdjgnlhbehoicdnf
Updated on 14 September 2025
This is funding proposal for Dash Platform Extension project within pshenmic.dev DFO.
Seedphrase support
Great news everyone, extension version V1 with seedphrases and mainnet support for
the extension has been finally released and it already been pushed to the Chrome Stores.
People who already installed it before shouldn’t do nothing, everything will be automatically
updated.
New version introduces seedphrase and keystore wallets available in both mainnet and
testnet network. You can easily manage multiple wallets for multiple networks and
different types of wallets in your extension now. Once you import your DashPay seedphrase,
your identities list will be synced and you will see your list of identities, its balance and
tokens on the homepage screen. You can use your existing seedphrase from Android
DashPay or Dash Evo Tool.
Unfortunately, we are still missing identity registration, and this is what we are going to
focus in October. All necessary changes are already on board in the SDK, so it’s all matter of
implementation of the frontend.
People, who already have DashPay seedphrase, but doesn’t have yet Identities registered
in the platform may already import it in the extension, but it will show an empty list of
identities, and the support for registration will be added later.
Dash UI Kit v1 (React)
All frontend components used in the extension has been moved out to a separate library
dash-ui-kit, and we released first stable version in NPM with more than 25 components
available already.
This makes possible to reuse the same components in the other React-based projects,
unifying the styling and components across the project. The library is being constantly
updated as we work on the extension and general plan is to sync it with the Figma UI
kit, that should give a development boost on future tasks and projects, and it might be
very useful with AI models in the future.

Dash Platform SDK
There was a constant work on improving SDK, especially in stabilizing it and performance
upgrade. A lot of features has been added, including token support, masternode voting,
DPNS name registration, and even Token Payment Info feature, that allows data contract
to charge tokens for document transitions (like creation, updating, deleting).
Serious performance optimization of the underlying DPP layer was made by our backend
dev that includes fixing memory leaks when its used in long-standing environments, like
backends, and general methods and fields improvements necessary for Identity registrations
and Masternode voting.
DPP and Drive Verification Rust bindings are now integrated in one library that led to a 46%
size reduction, that dropped full bundle size of the next SDK version from 7.8mb to a 3.9mb.
That drastically improved response times on the Platform Explorer backend and load time of
the extension when you click it in the browser.

Plan
The goal for the next month is to release Identity registration in the extension, and finally
unblock the onboarding of new users into Dash Platform and we expect to roll it out in
October. Together with that, we are hoping to also get credits / tokens transfer in the
extension, withdrawals and DashPay usernames support (will be seen as list on the
homepage, and registration, contact lists in the next versions)
Budget
Frontend 200 DASH
Backend 300 DASH
UX 50 dash
