Proposal description

pshenmic.dev DFO Extension / SDKs February 2026

Updated on 11 January 2025

This is funding proposal for Dash Platform Extension for December 2025 within pshenmic.dev
DFO.

General
Hello MNOs, our team got back from the holidays and we are happy to share updates with you.

We are still working on identity registrations and few other features, yet there still was a lot of
important work done, especially in SDKs that we use. There was a lot of changes in DX, and interfaces,
but the most important is React Native support, that is coming up in Dash Platform SDK v1.4, that will
allow us to port the applications on the mobile platforms (iOS, Android).

Extension should gain a Dash Core network support soon, meaning it will show you a regular Dash
addresses and the balance. This process is going to take a while, but the work on this thing is started.

We are working on moving the application on Mobile and Desktop platforms, together with Core network
support, which is being asked by community. We already did few designs mock ups, and beginning to write
the first code. Extension will still act as a gateway for Web applications, but the encrypted wallet info will
be stored on mobile or desktop device, which offers more secure storage.

Plan
The plan for next month is to create PoC mobile & desktop applications of the extension wallet and start
porting the code on new platforms.

Milestones:
  1. Roll out Identity Public Keys management (done, not in stores yet)
  2. Roll out Identity Registrations (WIP)
  3. PoC mobile version of the wallet (iOS + Android)
  4. PoC desktop version of the wallet (Mac, Win, Linux)
Budget

120 DASH (Backend + Frontend)
