This is funding proposal for Dash Platform Wallet Mobile for March 2026

General
Hello, this is a funding proposal for a new project, a port of the Dash Platform
Extension to mobile platforms. A lot of people from the community asked for
this last times and we're finally starting this project.

It is a React Native based application that will be supported on both iOS and
Android platform and going to support both Core and Platform chains, as well
as main Dash features.

Extension will still exist as a bridge for Dash DApps, providing an interface for
signing the transaction on your mobile, it increases the security of the user,
because browser wouldn't have any technical access to user's private keys
and other valuable user's wallet data.

Last month, we were working on a basic application structure, mostly frontend
we finished couple screens and already have a buildable application, the code
will be pushed very soon. 

Components from Dash UI Kit (React) is currently being updated to work in the
React Native environment, the library itself is going to support both Web and
Mobile environment.

Plan

The main goal for the next month is to deploy a test application into TestFlight
which will let people to access the early development versions. The first version
is going to include a wallet creation screens, the home screen, allowing you to
observe the wallet balance (syncing).

The approximate milestones are:

• Migrate Dash Components to the React Native (in progress)
• Release new Dash Platform SDK version with React Native support (in progress)
• Make a first dev build for an early access (TestFlight / Google Beta)
• Achieve basic syncing of the Dash Wallet in Core chain (Platform chain is easier in that sense)

Budget

The budget for this project for the next month is 240 DASH which will be split among
frontend and backend devs.
