Proposal description
pshenmic.dev Dash Platform Wallet Extension June 2026
This is funding proposal for Dash Platform Wallet Extension within
pshenmic.dev for June 2026.
General
There’s some good news and updates in the extension, we have finally
built out the Identity registration feature into extension allowing new
users to onboard in Dash Platform, that is currently only available via DET
or Android app.
Extension now let you register your first identity or make new ones based
on your needs. The new version already released (on GH), we have tested
everything locally on our end, we’ll wait for some more tests from the community
and instantly roll it out in Chrome Web Store (pretty much very soon).
The new version includes:
Plan
While building Identity registrations, we noticed how important Dash Core support
is for extension, the most painful points are AssetLocks which allows you to bridge
your Dash into the Platform, and without complete L1 support the code gets harder
and more complex.
So we decided to get back to this, and would like to start building that support in the
extension, it will unlock the some nice features like DashPay support, sending money
to Platform Addresses, and eventually sending Medusa addresses support.
There’s few UI features that we would like to get as well, such as Platform Addresses
and Top Ups support.
For next month, there’s two separate things that we would like to get started.
First, there’s little UI features, such as Platform Addresses support, Top Ups support
(that is coming soon in next version).
So in next month we plan to focus on two things:
have syncing L1 balances working (and utilising them for Identity registrations)
Budget
The budget reserve for this in project in next month is 150 DASH which will be split between:
