Proposal description
pshenmic.dev Dash Platform Wallet Desktop May 2026
Updated on 14 April 2026
This is funding proposal for Dash Platform Wallet Desktop
within pshenmic.dev May 2026.
Progress
Since the previous proposal, we have been finalizing the first version,
read-only version which shows your addresses, transactions and a multi
wallet support (you can have multiple wallets, and a different network
support).
All wallet info is currently stored unencrypted (except the seedphrase) in
a local SQLite database and connects to the network through the Explorer
API (currently Insight API).
In next versions, we plan to support P2P synchronization (similar to Dash
Electrum), which gives way more privacy and decentralisation for the end user.
Current features as of first version:
For the next month we plan to keep working on two big things: background P2P
sync (similar to Dash Electrum), and a Core send transactions.
Syncing is the most complex part and probably will take a couple of months to
achieve it.
In the next month, we plan to release a first testnet version with Dash Core transaction
send support.
There is also a design work that we are making together with Ermakow, for the next new
features in the wallet.
Budget
The proposal budget for this month is 200 DASH, and approximate split is:
120 DASH Frontend
50 DASH Backend
30 DASH Designs
