This is funding proposal for Dash Platform Wallet Desktop April 2026 .

General

This is proposal for new Dash desktop wallet (codename Dash Platform
Wallet Desktop), the wallet aim to support both Core and Platform chains
and features new designs based on new Dash Figma UI components. 

The work is going well on this project, we are targeting to release first
working version next week which will feature first wallet screens: welcome,
wallet creation and a home page.

It’s already buildable for Mac, I will add a continuous release workflow on this
week for other platforms (Win and Linux).

First version functionality will be quite limited, will show up your balance,
addresses, identities and transaction history (for both Core and Platform chains).

We kept it simple for the first version for a faster early version release.

We are continuously working on improving the designs, we get more knowledge
as we implement new features in the code instantly reflect it in the designs.

Plan

For the next month we are aiming for two big things, enable sending transactions
and research SPV wallet sync implementation.

Currently, wallet's functionality is limited to showing the balance and 
wallet's transactions, in the next version we will enable outgoing Dash 
transactions.

SPV wallet implementation (which works directly with Dash P2P network)
is a way more complex thing to do, as it involves a lot of complicated code,
but I believe in the month I could provide a basic, working implementation.
