This is funding proposal for Dash Desktop within pshenmic.dev
for August 2026.

General

Great news, Dash Desktop app integrated shielded transactions and
going to a public testing. We’re finishing up the last code and going to
release an open public testing release for all people to test.

We would like to introduce a new Dash Platform protocol feature that
just went live, now in nice UI / UX interface (thanks to Ermakow).

App now features a new Send menu with multi source-destination fields
that allows you to choose what asset you want to send (and where). You
can choose from Dash (L1), Identities, Platform Addresses and Shielded
addresses - all in one interface. It let you deposit to Platform, withdraw
back to Core and many other options. 

We have also worked a little on the Identities registrations, but it hasn’t
integrated yet. We merged the backend support for it, but it isn’t exposed
on the frontend yet.

Plan

We are going to publish a public version for shielded transfers very soon,
and we can’t wait to gather your feedback. There’s definitely going to be
some issues, the very next step would be fix all of them.

After that we would like focus next month:

• Finish dentities registration
• Code Signing (for a better distribution without security warnings)
• P2P wallet sync improvements
• Further UI / UX improvements (designs)

Budget

This proposal ask is only 100 DASH as we still have reserve from the previous
months. This proposal tops up reserve which will be spent on code and mock designs.
