This proposal seeks funding to provide for ongoing public relations services through our current PR firm, Wachsman PR. Our current contract concludes the first week of December, and the core team recommends extending our relationship with them. In our assessment, Wachsman PR's strategy and efforts have provided the project with substantial value, and achieved many firsts. These include our first mainstream article publications, our first top-tier payments industry publications, and our first print-media publication.

We have also identified the media placements which were "organic" vs. those that were driven by the efforts of Wachsman PR directly. Wachsman PR provided roughly half of the most recent month's coverage, so the impact is substantial. In addition, Wachsman supported our efforts to prepare for the laBITconf in Argentina this month.

The holiday period is typically a less intense one for news media, so we are currently evaluating whether PR coverage will be extended uninterrupted, or if we intend to break coverage until the beginning of January. Regardless, the initial payment for the next contract will be due prior to the January budget cycle. A large part of the final decision rests on whether specific announcements will be ready during the month of December, which we are evaluating as a team this week.

The monthly rate will remain the same, at $6,000 per month. This is the same rate as our previous PR firms, but we feel is a better value given the results.

Requested funding is as follows for the December 4th budget cycle:

• 5.00 Dash reimbursement for the proposal cost
