Proposal description

We are the developers of p.cash wallet, a fully open-source multi-chain crypto wallet with native support for Dash. The app is available on Google Play and F-Droid with hundreds of active users worldwide.
We have recently completed integration of cross-chain DASH swaps via our partner ChangeNow, and added support for Tangem hardware wallets.
To further improve the Dash user experience, we propose the following:
  • Implement support for Trezor hardware wallets
  • Improve blockchain interaction logic for Dash (sync, balances, transactions)
  • Refine UI/UX specifically for Dash users
  • Promote Dash usage within our wallet ecosystem
We are requesting 100 DASH in funding to support development, testing, hardware acquisition, and community outreach.
We believe this effort will directly benefit the Dash ecosystem by expanding wallet diversity, hardware support, and accessibility — especially for Android and privacy-focused users.
Thank you for considering our proposal.

Discussion: Should we fund this proposal?

Can you provide some kind of proof that this proposal is from p.cash? For example, you could create a landing page on your web domain verifying this proposal is from the company. Also, I think it would be good to hear more about the proposed UI/UX improvements. That could mean anything from integrating Dash usernames into the app to updating the logo, so it would be good to know more about what this funding will support. Thank you.

What we've already done for Dash:
- Cross-chain exchange support for Dash via ChangeNow — users can easily swap Dash with any other currency
- Hardware wallet support for Dash via Tangem — now available in our app
These features are unique to our wallet and are not available in Unstoppable or other Dash-compatible wallets.
We are also actively developing for the Unstoppable wallet, and you can see how many features we’ve implemented that others haven’t.

Planned improvements covered by this proposal:
- Fixing sync issues for some users — especially in regions where Dash is partially blocked via DPI (e.g. Russia, Vietnam)
- Adding Trezor support for Dash — as you know, Trezor has dropped native support, but we aim to restore access through our implementation

We’ve also previously submitted another proposal, related to wDASH — a wrapped Dash token with us:
https://www.dashcentral.org/p/wrapped-dash
The token and reserve system are public at https://wdash.org/en

Also, you can already use Dash for real payments on our platform:
https://p.cash/en/art

We’re committed to supporting Dash long-term and want to build features that benefit the entire ecosystem.

Thank you for your feedback!
