Proposal description
This is a cross-post from Dash Forum
This is a continuation of the marketing budget started in July https://www.dash.org/forum/threads/proposal-marketing-international-outreach-promotion.9218/
This marketing budget proposal will provide continued funding for our language translators, and seeks new funding to begin the process of translating our wiki and videos. The language translators translate a massive amount of material on a monthly basis, including relevant news articles, videos (voiceover and subtitles), web pages, and with the additional funding, will be maintaining local wikis. In addition, these individuals post materials to local chat groups and social media. The four main languages covered are Russian, Chinese, Portuguese, and Spanish.
Translators are compensated with tips based on the volume of material and other outreach they perform for the community. We have been running the program for about a year and it is effective at increasing our international exposure.
In addition, we are beginning to sign sponsorship deals with targeted YouTube channels and website partners for placement and promotion. For example, Dash is now sponsoring "Ideias Radicais" from Raphaël Lima. A small amount of funds are also used for giveaways or promotions.
The requested amount is expected to be an ongoing need to maintain these translation services, international media, and promotion efforts.
Requested funding is as follows for the September 4th budget cycle:
Note: Should any funding remain after the project is complete, we will reserve those funds for future marketing projects

Will need this information to know how to vote.
Also, who decided to sponsor "Ideias Radicais"? That seems like almost a Marketing Manager role appearing. I'd be interested to know who is in charge of making those calls.
it does for me.
Useful for one work but no more :)
