Proposal description

This is a cross-post from the Dash Forum

This proposal is to fund our ongoing infrastructure costs. Ongoing costs are outlined below. We are increasing the budget requested this month because we plan to migrate several websites to multi-homed instances with Digital Ocean (in response to several recent outages). Multi-homed instances will provide redundancy, throughput, and ensure much higher uptime for our websites and work tools. We estimate the costs to increase to approximately $1,000 which is an incremental $390 / month over the existing costs outlined below. We will also host staging and development versions for the same mulit-homed instances.

Cloud infrastructure costs:
$260 per month for AWS and Google services and administration
Roles:
- Route53 DNS zone management
- EC2 web server instances
- S3 for web server instances
- Backups and auditing
- Gmail for domains
- VPS for integrations support

Hosted Compile Server:
$150 per month for co-location and replacement parts for our Bamboo compile server

Cloudflare Business plan:
$200 per month
- Hosting of dash.org and all services hosted under that domain
- DDOS protection
- Web optimization services
- Real time statistics

Here are the properties we plan to migrate to multi-homed solutions:
- dash.org new website (Feb. 5th)
- dash.org forums
- dashfoundation.io
- dashevolution.com

Requested funding is as follows for the February 3rd budget cycle:
Total: 74.87 Dash

Note: Should any funding remain, we will apply those funds toward future infrastructure funding needs

Do our websites have that heavy traffic? Could we have a breakdown of the 260 USD/month?
