Proposal description

This is a cross-post from the Dash Forum

This proposal is to fund our ongoing infrastructure costs. We have not requested any infrastructure budget for the past two budget cycles, so we are requesting some extra budget to cover reimbursements in addition to funds required for December.

Ongoing costs are outlined below which includes changes which were described in detail in September's infrastructure funding request.

Cloud infrastructure costs:
$260 per month for AWS and Google services and administration
Roles:
- Route53 DNS zone management
- EC2 web server instances
- S3 for web server instances
- Backups and auditing
- Gmail for domains
- VPS for integrations support

Hosted Compile Server:
$150 per month for co-location and replacement parts for our Bamboo compile server

Cloudflare Business plan:
$200 per month
- Hosting of dash.org and all services hosted under that domain
- DDOS protection
- Web optimization services
- Real time statistics

Requested funding is as follows for the December 4th budget cycle:
Total: 95.00 Dash

Note: Should any funding remain, we will apply those funds toward future infrastructure funding needs

Next time perhaps you shouldn't buy a server made from bamboo. It might prevent the need for so many replacement parts. Just sayin'

I think it would be prudent to move away from gmail for domains since we are dealing with a privacy centric platform......maybe enterprise version of protonmail. Also moving server services that take crypto for payment. I know Qhost takes DASH (That's what I run my MN through). I am voting yes this time, but I would be very happy to see the team moving towards supporting products and services that support crypto currency and privacy (gmail is the worst). For that kind of money it shouldn't be a problem.

+1 It's important to make sure we patronize friendlys as much as possible, and not those actors who may be .. less than friendly. We have the choice & power to remove our current from those less than friendly arrangements.
