Proposal description

DASH Intents brings Cross-chain Swaps to Dash

A user signs the outcome they want — "pay X of asset A, receive at least Y of asset B" — and Market Makers compete to deliver it. The user never picks a venue or a route; competition on price replaces both. The #1 use-case: moving value into and out of DASH — BTC into DASH, DASH into stablecoins, and back — in one signed intent.

Shielded transactions — natively, as a core feature: Shielded Tokens are a committed core feature of DASH Intents:
when they are released, shielded swaps will work natively through the same intent flow — sign the outcome, market makers compete to fill it. — this is a stated commitment, not a shipped feature: Shielded Tokens are not yet released, and support lands as soon as they are.

Private swaps today (verifiable):
none of the pool-based cross-chain DEXs offers private swaps.

Across THORChain (36 pools), Maya (25 pools), and Chainflip, Monero is listed on none of them, and the one privacy coin they do list — Zcash — trades through transparent vault addresses (Maya's ZEC vault is a transparent t-address).

Monero's decentralized liquidity instead lives on P2P and atomic-swap venues (Haveno, Bisq, eigenwallet, BasicSwap).

This commitment is one no pool-based DEX has made.

Masternode operators (MNOs) are the verified tier of market makers (checked against Dash Core protx list valid; payouts only to the chain-derived address). The role itself is open to anyone.

Fees paid to masternode operators: every filled swap pays a protocol fee (15 bps on small trades, down to 5 bps on large ones), and the intended model pays 80% of protocol fees to masternode operators. On top of that, a market maker earns the spread on every swap it fills.

Protocol fee schedule (of trade size):
  • ≤ $1,000 — 15 bps (0.15%)
  • $1,000 – $10,000 — 10 bps (0.10%)
  • $10,000 – $100,000 — 7 bps (0.07%)
  • > $100,000 — 5 bps (0.05%)

The boundary is inclusive: a trade of exactly $1,000 pays 15 bps. Bounds are in USD so the schedule does not drift with DASH price volatility; they are SDK constants — policy, not protocol — and can be revisited in future releases.

The model is proven — NEAR Intents as the comparable: the same execution model, live on NEAR for just two years, has reached:
  • $45M+ in total fees generated, all-time.
  • 830K+ unique users in 30 days.
  • $55M+ in TVL.

That is the growth target DASH Intents is built toward — brought to Dash, with masternode operators as its verified market-making tier. It is a comparable, not a forecast of Dash returns: fees accrue only from real volume, and there is no revenue until there is usage.

Ask: 100 DASH/month x 6 cycles (600 DASH total)

Cycle 1 retroactive for work already published:
  1. Testnet data contract
  2. Software Development Kit (SDK)
  3. Rust market-maker daemon
  4. Nostr offer layer
  5. User-facing sites + docs

Cycles 2-6 fund the write path, mainnet registration, and operator hardening.

Who we are: the Sansbank team (Sansbank DAO) — builders of EvoNext, the social network running on Dash Platform.

Three ways a masternode earns:
  1. Run a market maker and earn the spread on every swap you fill.
(open role; masternode operators are the verified tier)
  2. Join the Titan Pool.
  3. Receive the intended 80% share of protocol fees paid to masternode operators (MNOs).
