This proposal is for the fourth quarter 2024 of the Dash Growth business development and marketing initiative

.Last quarter recap

This past quarter, with the Evolution release, we focused on promotion of Evolution. The release was covered by numerous publications including Finbold, CoinDesk, Bitcoin.com, 99Bitcoins, and many more (including a yet-to-be-released podcast with Crypto Slate, and an op-ed in the Cypherpunk Times). We put out a press release which was picked up by many publications, and our social media posts have resulted in coverage as well. We also ran or participated in a number of spaces on X, including one with Quantum Explorer outlining the Evolution release plan, and spaces and promotional posts and shout-outs from ecosystem partners, including Edge Wallet, Spritz, Exolix, Poloniex, Maya Protocol, ChangeNOW, CacaoSwap, Exolix, Web3 Global, Crypto Empire, crypto influencer Matt Carano, ChangeHero, and many more.

We attended and spoke at may conferences this past quarter, including the New Tech Sphere 2024 virtual conference, and in-person at the Porcupine Freedom Festival, the Litecoin Summit and Bitcoin Conference, Rare Evo (where we co-sponsored the Maya Protocol booth), and HiveFest. These conferences have been an invaluable source of networking for partnerships in Dash, which we hope to be able to announce in the coming months.

On the business development side, we announced a partnership with Swapin, a service allowing Europeans to pay all their bills, on-ramp, etc. with Dash. When using Swapin, please use this referral code.

Dash was integrated into DexSafe, the Stack Wallet, merchant tool Bitrequest, super-app Volet, and regulated US merchant tool provider CurPay. We have also been in conversations with many merchant tool providers about providing API data for their merchant location listing for easy addition to the Dash Wallet, and so far three have agreed. We are working getting this data readily available so that Dash users can simply download the Dash wallet and see everywhere in the world they can spend their Dash.

What's ahead

Brave ad initiative

We are in the process of putting the final touches on an advertising campaign in the Brave browser set to run the first week of October. This will include both a takeover of the new tab page for brand awareness and general education on the Evolution platform, as well as a targeted push notification campaign dedicated at getting new users to download the wallet, register a username, and buy and spend Dash through the wallet. This is financed through the Evolution warchest proposal funds, as well as through any residual marketing funds through other marketing proposals.Following these initial October ad campaigns, we will be planning additional campaigns aimed at user acquisition as we integrate new features into the wallets, release new functionality, add more services, etc. after evaluating the success for previous initiatives, and funding permitted.


Continued Evolution promotion

We will continue to promote the Evolution chain to more users, developers, investors, and so on, particularly as new features are released: tokens, contracts that can be monetized, etc., as well as when more developer tools and documentation are released.


Continued work on finalizing partnerships

We will continue to work on finalizing the many partnerships we have initiated over the course of the year. Some have taken many months to finalize. For example, we have been working on Swapin since early January, and just recently announced a partnership and started an affiliate relationship. We are still working on a few more which should become public when finalized.


BitLicense/MiCA

We are continuing to pursue solutions to Dash’s regulatory blockages, and have been introduced to some potential partners who could help us in our US case. CrowdNode pursuing a MiCA license in Europe may allow us to tackle that obstacle much sooner than we had planned, and we will be working closely with them to help accomplish this goal.


Cross-chain partnerships

We are also in talks with a friendly blockchain project on mutually-beneficial collaboration. We may be able to work out an arrangement where we can co-integrate our services so that new users onboarded will be users of, and benefit, both projects. In particular, this may solve Dash's persistent problem of users with no reason to acquire Dash in order to then spend it by providing a way for users to earn Dash. Ask

We are increasing our monthly ask to 415 Dash. Or consistent ask this year was priced as enough to sustain our two full-time salaries as long as the price remained above $35. This has not been the case at virtually any point during the year, and we have consistently run a deficit, dipping into our initial crowdfund amount. If price improves and this quarter, we will adjust future proposals after our one-month reserve is replenished.
