1. Executive Summary:

In Q4 2020, we will focus on:
  1. Dash Africa Desk - Marketing, PR and Support
  2. Remittances
  3. Business Development and Integrations
  4. General Dash Adoption

Our Dash Africa Desk has been highly successful, earning us media coverage in top tier media platforms such as Cointelegraph, Bitcoinnews  and others. We will be scaling this up increasing the press features of Dash going forward.

Using Dash for sending remittances to Nigeria is becoming easier by the day with our listing of Dash on Coinprofile. We are currently working to get Bureau De Change operators to use Dash when remitting money to Nigeria. We will continue to provide support for Dash text as it plans to be launched in Nigeria soon.

We'll continue our business development activities, integrating Dash into exchanges, payment gateways and businesses that'll enable Dash use by users, continue providing support for Dash users, merchants and partners and social media activities.

2. Proposal Scope:

A. Dash Africa Desk - Marketing, PR and Support:
Our Dash Africa Desk has been highly successful, earning us media coverage in top tier media platforms such as Cointelegraph, Bitcoinnews and others. We will be scaling this up increasing the press features of Dash going forward. A solid marketing and support framework improves our offering to partners.

Nathaniel Luz has been invited to be a Headline speaker at the CRYPTO FEST 2020 conference on October 30 at a cost of $0 https://cryptofest.co.za/speakers-2020/. The speaking and other privileges we have gotten for free are available under the "premier sponsorship" which costs R80,000 or $4604.28 https://cryptofest.co.za/become-sponsor/. The title of his presentation will be "Future of Payments: A Peer-to-Peer Electronic Cash System".

The Dash Africa Desk is also responsible for engaging with regulators to ensure Dash gets a proper classification when the regulations are released. We are working with the Stakeholders In Blockchain Technology Association of Nigeria (SIBAN) regarding this. One of the successes of the Digital Cash Awareness Drive is that it has improved our relationship with the regulators and their knowledge of Dash as they have a resource at their disposal for clarifications about Dash.

B. Remittances:
Using Dash for sending remittances to Nigeria is becoming easier by the day with our listing of Dash on Coinprofile. We are currently working to get Bureau De Change operators to use Dash when remitting money to Nigeria, beginning with the US and will replicate this framework to other countries as well. A joint marketing campaign with campaign is currently ongoing also.

C. Business Development and Integrations:
We have been working to get Dash text support extended to Nigeria and we are close to its launch in Nigeria already. During the course of this proposal we will be involved with Dash text launch, marketing and on-ground support in Nigeria.

We'll continue our business development activities, integrating Dash into exchanges, payment gateways and businesses that'll enable Dash use by users. We have a couple of new integrations that will be completed and launched in Q4.

We will also work on closing existing leads and replenishing our lead pipeline.

D. General Dash Adoption:
The Digital Cash Awareness Drive which has seen us give copies of Digital is the Cash book to regulators including Nigeria Deposit Insurance Corporation, NDIC Abuja, Securities and Exchange Commission, SEC Abuja, The Chartered Institute of Bankers, CIBN Lagos, National Information Technology Development Agency, NITDA Abuja, National Library, exchanges including Binance Nigeria, Sabii, and several others will be scald this down to 50 copies per month.

Increased marketing of Dash via social media platforms like Twitter, Telegram, WhatsApp, offering support to the Dash ecosystem in Nigeria and other promotional activities not covered in the scope of this proposal.

4. Why Vote YES?

Proven team:

We have been executing the proposed strategy already successfully for a couple of months. We have been able to constantly increase all relevant metrics: Integrations, merchants, users, transactions and have recently branched out into engaging media partners. We are also a part of Dash Co-Working (DCW).

Low cost:
We’re constantly among the cheapest teams in the category “General Dash adoption”. We believe to have generated a high return on investment for the DAO and are pushing to get even more cost efficient.

Consistent adoption:
We don’t promise the pie in the sky. We don’t expect you to pay us many months in advance. We work step by step, unlocking new Dash adoption along the way. Support us and continue to see ongoing results month over month.

Nigeria is hungry for Dash:
The success of campaigns such as the Digital Cash Awareness Drive show that Nigeria is a receptive and fertile ground for Dash adoption. We’re introducing reliable payments, free “banking” infrastructure and economic cross border payments, capabilities that many Nigerians are experiencing for the first time and are reaping the corresponding strong results such as our telegram group having about 1,000 members.

82.93 Dash per month for 3 months

Nathaniel Luz of Dash Nigeria interviewed by Businessday newspaper (Nigeria's foremost business media outlet) on the SEC cryptocurrency classification

“This is a welcome development since Dash as a virtual currency does not classify as a commodity or security and the existence of Dash since 2014 pre-dates the ICO days,” Luz said. “We at Dash Nigeria are open to working with the regulators should they require any clarifications regarding the classification of Dash.”
