Proposal description
This is a cross-post from Dash Forum
Since a portion of the funding the core team had reserved for the community appears likely to be unused, we are planning ahead for future expenses to use this budget. We anticipate a need for a small amount of conference-related travel costs in July and August that we would like to pre-fund.
The specific costs are the following:
- Ground transportation costs at d10e to/from the airport or other incidental costs (exact amount not known)
- Evan is also to present at a Bitcoin meetup in Atlanta on August 24th (domestic flight and one night hotel required)
- As a policy, travel costs are never used for reimbursing meals and entertainment expenses - only travel and lodging
By pre-funding the Bitcoin meetup travel costs in August, we should be able to reduce the costs, so we believe pre-funding those expenses is in the best interest of the network.
Requested funding is as follows for the July 6th budget cycle:

And I'd prefer August expenses be submitted in August. This is not a race to see how many Dash we can create.
