Firstly, the goal is ALWAYS to grow market cap. So to answer your question, of course my goal is to increase DASH's market share.
Secondly, however, it's probably time to start differentiating cryptos by the type of their market cap. Because various crypto projects are skewing so far outside of payments that it's not even correct to compare them to DASH anymore.
So ask yourself this -- aside from the slowly-dying Bitcoin, is there any other PAYMENT-specific cryptocurrency with a higher market cap than DASH?
I think not.
The top-10 in market cap is riddled with testnet coins and science projects right now. When the going gets tough and the reaper comes to call, DASH is going to blow past them.... *in payments.* How long this market avidly continues to support science projects is anyone's guess, and it's not even a problem if it lasts forever. All that matters for us is getting more merchants set up to take DASH and more customers demanding to pay in it. Which we're already doing.
I won't press right now for your real opinion on what to do against the likes of ltc or eth which are actually being used as hacked together non-science currencies.
