Proposal description

UPD! The ypool biennial cycle consists of the following steps:
First, a fund is formed to pay video bloggers. This process takes 24 months. During this time, video bloggers receive a small support from the ypool fund. The final distribution of funds between video bloggers will occur after 24 months. All funds from the Fund will be divided between bloggers in proportion to the number of views and likes.

Features:
*If ypool does not offer to distribute 24,000 Dash between bloggers, bloggers with a million-strong audience will not come to ypool.
*If the budget is less than 24,000 Dash, bloggers with a million-strong audience will not come to ypool.
*If less funds are allocated, bloggers with a million-strong audience will not come to ypool.
*If you do not accumulate funds in the fund, but immediately distribute 1000 Dash once a month, bloggers will immediately sell Dash, and the desired media effect will not be achieved. We want bloggers to fight for a share of the entire budget and thereby further fuel the media effect.

We want a battle for the budget between bloggers!

-------------
We are members of the Russian-speaking Dash community (Telegram chat\channel administrators @kotbykot, @pfeffa and a few others), we came up with an innovative concept for popularizing the Dash network. We want to involve the entire Dash community in discussing our idea. You can check that we are not impostors in the main chat of the Russian-speaking community https://t.me/Dash_Ru_channel
To better understand the meaning of our idea, we recommend watching our video presentation.

We have specially made a video presentation in several languages: EnglishRussian and Spanish.

We also made a text version of our proposal:
Dash is a revolutionary project that has recently become not only an advanced means of payment, but also the foundation for the world of WEB3 technologies, now it's time to make some noise and here Ypool comes to the rescue.
With Ypool, video bloggers create a Ypool tag. A Ypool tag is a unique video animation containing a QR code link that leads to the Ypool landing page.
On the landing page, the visitor will be able to get acquainted with the Dash project, download the wallet, find ways to replenish the wallet and safely send a donation to the video blogger.
The video blogger, after finishing editing his video and installing personal footage, uploads the video to YouTube. After uploading the video, the blogger specifies the link to the video in the Ypool personal account, and Ypool will start counting the number of views and "likes". The more views the video gets, the more Dash coins the author of the video will receive.
Coins are distributed among video authors monthly from a special fund, which is formed through income from masternodes, DAO funding and donations.
Ypool plans to receive most of its funds from masternodes to ensure a stable volume of funds in the fund, guaranteeing bloggers a constant income.
In order not to harm the development of other projects within the DAO DASH, Ypool plans to form its fund by receiving only 1100 Dash from the DAO Budget every month for two years, thus creating 1 masternode per month.
The security of the fund's assets will be ensured by multi-signatures from several active and time-tested members of the Dash community.
What result does the Ypool team plan to achieve? It's very simple: the gradual joining of video bloggers with a multi-million audience to Ypool will increase the audience of Dash network users and, as a result, the demand for Dash services and cryptocurrency.
As the Dash rate grows, the DAO budget will be enough for several teams of developers, not just one. The higher the rate, the more opportunities!
We do not propose to spend money on marketing once, we propose to create a tool that will create and maintain a media effect on an ongoing basis.
Support the Ypool project, because this is the tool that will allow the Dash network to shine!
We are ready to answer your questions in Discord, Forum Dash and in the telegram chat of the Russian-speaking community https://t.me/Dash_Ru_channel.You will find answers to your questions and a more detailed description of the project in our blue paper.

Discussion: Should we fund this proposal?

Ok, so you have a crystal ball and know exactly what the bloggers will do or not do. Great!
(And of course you can guarantee, that you’ll keep 24k Dash in a secure wallet for 2 years...)

I also have a crystal ball, that tells me, that MNOs will rather vote yes for something that starts immediately with an amount of 200-300 Dash per month without all this escrow/fund stuff.

The basic idea pleases me. Please ask for just 200-300 per month, without this funding stuff, and you’ll get my "yes" vote.

It's an excessive ask and would be nice if it was first tested at a much lesser ask. I appreciate that the PO has been around Dash for a long time and appears to have a good reputation. But we still should go about this in a more careful way financially.

Notice that hilawe will NOT ask these "hard questions" about Joel's proposal at all. He'll just "upvote" like a sycophant, while continuing to attack ANY proposal that actually pushes for Dash adoption.

This is exactly what I was referring to.

I like the idea of Ypool, and I think community marketing initiatives are good and necessary. I especially like the idea of using community resources such as masternode rewards.

I don't think receiving 1 masternode per month from the treasury is feasible, especially if the treasury funds themselves don't get spent (and the additional nodes cause all existing masternodes to get less income). In my view, it would be easier to convince 120 MNOs to donate 10% of their income to marketing than it would be to convince the network to give 12 masternodes and reduce everyone's rewards anyway.

Probably, this would be easier to do to use existing masternode donations (as I mentioned above) along with a smaller treasury proposal that goes directly to creators (instead of funding the creation of more masternodes).

But again, that's just my opinion, the network decides what it wants. Either way, I hope Ypool launches and I am always available to help make it more effective. Thanks for the initiative!

Hard NO to 'Ypool plans to form its fund by receiving only 1100 Dash from the DAO Budget every month for two years, thus creating 1 masternode per month.'

Notice how skeptical this poster is of this proposal. Any "new blood" is relentlessly attacked by this cabal of vipers and sharks, but he'll NEVER ask these questions on Joel's proposals. Joel literally has 2 proposals totalling nearly 1000 Dash PER MONTH. And complete silence from him.

This is proof that I was completely correct. We have an infiltrated masternode problem. These guys have sold us out.

Who even came up with this plan ? It seems just so out of touch with Dash current market situation.

So in the beginning only 70 Dash per month and in 2 years about 210 Dash.
IMHO the MNs are not needed and make all this too complicated.
And the marketing is needed now, and not in 2 years. Nobody knows what happens the next 2 years.
So yes for Ypool, but without MNs.
200 Dash per month immediately, that would be fine.
Let others create MNs.
Now, this proposal reads for me just as "Give me Dash to create MNs."
You’ll get my vote, if it’s something like 200-300 Dash per month: 30 Dash for Ypool and 170-270 Dash for the creators on Youtube.

this is one of the options. It is good. Help us convince the community for long-term funding, otherwise we will not be able to attract large bloggers.
In case of funding termination - the videos remain and views of these videos continue, but the funds no longer come in. This is bad for bloggers. This is the main issue.

I think, that if the MNOs see the benefit (and if it works, they’ll do), then they will vote "yes". Why should the MNOs shoot themself in the feet?
