Proposal description

This is a one month project that will require 403 Dash.

DESCRIPTION + GOAL STATEMENT 
Our goal is to show the world how efficient and fun Dash is to use. 
Our vibrant commercial will promote Dash to an international audience with unlimited distribution opportunities.

WHO WE ARE
We are Synthesis Creative, a full service production company hailing from Los Angeles, California.  Our website is www.synthesiscreative.com.

We can offer such a high quality product because of our efficient and streamlined team. Together, we have decades of experience in the entertainment industry.

THE COMMERCIALS

These professional commercials will show Dash being used by a diverse range of people from all cultures and age groups. It will be provided in a format that can be distributed internationally across any and all advertising mediums.

You will receive:
  • An impressive full-length 60 second commercial
  • A slightly more succinct 30 second commercial
  • A short and sharp 15 second commercial
  • An updated animated Dash logo
These commercials (which are outlined in full below) will show these people using Dash in a clean, sexy and upbeat video. Our strategy here is to use a “show, not tell” style. By not including dialogue we will transcend language barriers, ultimately opening up distribution opportunities all around the world.  

This concept is ideal for an international audience, and will show how simple Dash is to use as actual Digital Cash.  These assets will also function as high-end videos at Dash-sponsored conferences and events around the world.  

OUR COLLABORATION

We will produce the above video content and present it to the network for peer review and delivery. The sky’s the limit when it comes to distribution of this commercial. The audience reached is only as narrow as this network’s ideas/dreams.

This commercial has distribution potential in many different forms including: 
    • international commercials
    • streaming platforms
    • busses
    • live events
    • airlines
    • social media
    • and even DASH-sponsored conferences.
Our commercial has the benefit of not relying on Facebook or Google advertisements to be distributed. This means it will have a shelf-life of long beyond May.

THE PROCESS 

Once approved, we will work quickly to shoot and turn this around in 60 days to make sure the community can utilize the videos as soon as possible.

Our team will cover all facets of production from ideation to asset delivery. We have developed a clean idea showing various people using DASH in day-to-day situations. In our execution, we will be producing with top notch talent agencies, the best camera + lighting gear, and an efficient post production team to polish it off. 

The result will be a series of stunning 4K images that really stand out in the cryptocurrency space. 

The final versions of the three videos AND the DASH animated logo will be made available for download in 4K to members of this community. We would love to see these ads later in the year with future distribution proposals (ie: airplanes, billboards, festivals, etc) Additionally, we would plan to publish these four assets on YouTube and Vimeo channels created under a DASH Productions account.

What we like about this video is the use of screens and the ability to clearly see what the user is doing. We intend to do the same with the DASH Wallet from the iOS app store. We’ll be showing users scanning each other’s QR codes to pay for goods and services, clearly showing how easy it is to send money anywhere, instantly.

As DASH continues to evolve we want to create these assets to develop upcoming promotion for the release of Evolution! Based on our fluid production outline, our on screen action can represent DASH as much at present, well into the future. Our assets can help maintain the knowledge and acquisition of DASH, as well as build hype for it’s future growth.

SCRIPT SEGMENT BREAKDOWN
 

UPSCALE BAR - EVENING
A man stands confidently at a modern bar. A couple craft cocktails are slid to him by a bartender. The bartender turns an iPad around for the man to quickly and easily pay for the drinks with the DASH Wallet on his smart phone. They exchange a smile as the man walks toward his group, drinks in hand. 

OUTDOOR RESTAURANT - AFTERNOON
A group of 3 friends are finishing up their tapas style meal with enthused conversation. A waiter comes to the table with an iPad, showing the amount owed. One friend swiftly pays with their DASH Wallet app through the waiters iPad. The other friends pull out their phones and repay their share through their own DASH wallets. 

SKATE SHOP/ADVENTURE SHOP - LATE AFTERNOON
A young girl is picking out her favorite sports equipment (skateboard, bike, rock climbing gear, etc). The shop owner helps her find the right size and style to fit her needs. She chooses and they exchange payment through iPhone and iPad DASH Wallets. She skates/runs out of the shop excited about her new purchase.

SCRIPT SEGMENT BREAKDOWN (CONT.) 

HOME OFFICE + ART STUDIO - EARLY MORNING
A woman sits at her desktop computer looking through pieces of art for sale on an artist’s website. She smiles as she finds the right one for her home and pays for it using a DASH wallet on the website. CUT TO an eccentric women in an art studio painting or throwing clay. A notification pops up on her smart watch showing she has made a sale. 

TAXI CAR - EVENING
Two males are riding in a taxi talking and having a good time. They arrive at their destination as the driver turns to let them know. The fare appears on the touch screen in front of them and they both pull out their phones to split the fare. They all share a smile and the passengers exit, hold hands and walk off down the bustling street. 

FARMERS MARKET - LATE AFTERNOON
A man walks through the local, outdoor market. He finds a produce stand and greets the female vendor. He chooses 2 pieces of produce which amount to .50 cents. They both pull out their smart phones to effortlessly exchange payment through their DASH Wallet. The camera flies to an aerial shot revealing the entire, neighborhood street at sunset.

Great work. I love the visual stye of your demo-reel.
As some have already stated I would also see such a clip in relation to the release of evolution to beat the drum as loud as possible. This month the budget will be rather tight, though. Please do not give up with the DAO in case this one is not passing this cycle.

I like the direction you are going with this, but I think such an effort might be more effective later when our product (Dash Evolution) is closer to being as polished as your video content is. With the budget looking like it may be very tight this month, I think I would give preference to other projects.

Thank you for your feedback Troy, we had originally planned to do this proposal mid last year but decided to wait until 2018 because this was supposed to be the year of Evolutions mainnet release. Due to the release date being changed once again we came up with a concept that is actually upgradeable in the future with new interfaces on the devices. We also decided to focus on showing all types of people using Dash for p2p transactions, which is still an important feature of evolution once it launches. Either way though, we appreciate you taking the time to give us your thoughts, cheers!

As in the Pre-Proposal, one strength I'd like to highlight with this proposal is its utility and variability. Several commercials, all can be re-edited to correspond to changes due to upcoming Evolution releases, belonging to the network for perpetuity. While we already do have another commercial video proposal on the block, not every commercial will appeal to every consumer. "It takes all kinds to reach all kinds." This is a great opportunity and not at all redundant in my opinion.

I don't see any suggestions to support this? Where would we use this video if not Google, Facebook and Twitter?

Hi @TanteStefana!

We will deliver our video and assets so that they may be used via ALL distribution methods upon completion. What we upload for network wide access will be able to be used on Facebook (without paid spend behind it) and/or Ad Space (up until June).

The benefit of our production vs any other proposed option, we will be able to distribute our material via Television, Billboards, Busses, Airplanes, etc.

It is much easier for productions to limit their distribution to ONLY the internet. For productions with celebrity involved, the cost for creating the commercial would skyrocket for distribution in perpetuity across all platforms. An actor's contract would run out over an extended amount of time, and a video's ability to be distributed would essentially expire (unless another contract were to renew such assets).

Our production has unlimited potential, without restriction of any type of distribution.

For this proposal, we want to start here and give the network the tools to be ultimately successful over an unlimited amount of time. Once we succeed beyond measure on this proposal, we want to lead the discussion on what type of video advertising will continue to elevate DASH.

As far as marketing contractors, we have reached out to @fernando multiple times but he appears to not have been active in awhile. We have also reached out to the owner of O&M but no response quite yet. We are continuing to make efforts but with the direction of our proposal, we feel this concept would be universal among the advertising of DASH. Any interfaces on devices that we film will be easy to update with new software looks through visual effects. Our main approach is showing real people using this peer to peer currency seamlessly in everyday life. Something that hasn’t truly been done in the network thus far.

Ordinarily, for a substantial proposal, we would expect a pre-proposal discussion prior to the submission of a proposal. If there was such a pre-proposal discussion, could you link to it? Have you been in touch with our marketing/branding/advertising contractors?
