Proposal description

As many of you know The Crypto Show has officially teamed up with Chuck Williams former lead UIX developer for Dash Core to bring Dash to the masses. The Crypto Show is moving out of the echo chamber of "Crypto Media" and onto major markets to reach actual new users.  We have been invited to join 4 major 50,000 Watt AM stations in four of the largest markets in the country.  We previously had taken on a new show in Phoenix Arizona that focused on an intro to Crypto.  We educated the listeners on general terminology of Crypto as well as wallet set up.  We utilized Dash and its features to introduce crypto to people.  Most of our listeners have no experience with cryptocurrency and we want their first experience to be with Dash.   We’ve already had success with meet-ups in the Phoenix area.  We included weekly informal meetings at a local pizza shop that accepts Dash.  We encouraged the listeners to come out after the show to meet us for a basic intro.  Our focus now insofar as terrestrial radio is with Salem Media Group. Aside from the Bloomberg Business audience they have several other types as well. In the coming months we will look at shifting to other markets to reach new audiences. One such audience would be Hawaii where Chuck is researching a plan for Dash outreach there.  Our current focus of expansion is the Spanish market in Miami where we hope to build on top of the fantastic work of the teams in Venezuela.

Expansion into Spanish Bloomberg Affiliate with Venezuelan Remittance Ads

We are excited to have the new opportunity on WKAT 97.7 FM and 1080 AM in Miami, adding to coverage in major cities across the country.  On these Spanish-speaking stations we will be running Dash ads in Spanish targeting Venezuelans for the idea of remittance. Obviously this would translate to the work in Colombia or any other Latam country as well.  The ads will be crafted and produced by Eugenia Alcala of Dash Venezuela to highlight them as a go to resource for "how to" information in Spanish. The radio broadcast coverage area includes Doral, FL which is known as Doralzuela because of its high population of Venezuelans.  The ads will direct people to Dash Venezuela as a resource for learning how to send Dash remittances to loved ones in Venezuela, supporting the thriving Dash ecosystem there.   The ads will also teach how to use the Dash wallets Uphold feature to make purchasing Dash easy for those at least with bank access.  Hopefully other on ramps will be available to those who might be un-banked. This is a great opportunity to help grow liquidity in Latam, so that it can be used by the nearly 2552 current merchants accepting Dash as payment.  If remittance payments can catch on because of the obvious savings they provide using Dash we can push for more Spanish speaking stations across the country.

Danny adds more to the Dash network most months than years of DCG's PR team, which costs 4 times as much.

I should add that Eugenia of Dash Venezuela is the only one in Latin America I have reached out to so far for Spanish radio ads. We could easily alternate spots in for Dash Text and Dash Colombia as well. Venezuela is an easier target but all of Latin America would apply as far as the listening audience on the spanish stations.

Danny especially (and now Chuck too) has done and continues to do more than most to promote and represent Dash to the point of being ubiquitous. Because the Crypto Show is crypto-agnostic and not Dash exclusive, I think it serves as a good ambassador for the branding and certainly has a much improved reach. While I'd like to see the network focus more on areas of the world that produce more tangible benefits to the network than the USA, if we're going to have a presence there, Danny's and Chuck's work serves that purpose well at an affordable price. Unless something related to the critical infrastructure of the network or Core's progress on Evo is at risk, I'll be voting yes.

Thanks still trying to work out the bugs in the font size but the gist of what's being added are commercials on Spanish-speaking stations in the Miami area. Unfortunately we don't have a Spanish affiliate in Houston. These two areas make up the largest concentration Venezuelans in the US. As described in the proposal Eugenia has agreed to help produce Spanish ads targeting Venezuelans to seek resources from Dash Venezuela to learn the ropes ongetting a Dash wallet and using it.

Yes, that potential for reaching other audiences than exclusively Western ones is definitely an additional boon for this and other proposals working in tandem. That was a great call, and I wish more proposals "cross-pollinated" in that way.
