Slam Dunk with Dash in Morocco!

TL;DRHi Dash Nation, my name is Zakaria (#15) and this proposal will create a basketball tournament in 4 cities in Morocco, providing high-level sports entertainment and education about Dash to sports fans and basketball players, including a social media giveaway and marketing campaign, with escrow by Instantkarmafund.
Moroccans are big sports fans and highly receptive to new technology to help them “get ahead”. Some have turned to Bitcoin as a store of value. However, almost nobody knows about Dash. My goal is to make a fun and educational promotion of Dash to highly-skilled basketball players and fans in stadiums in major cities Morocco, including Rabat, Casablanca, Mohammadia and Kenitra. There will be giveaways for those that share the events that I create on Facebook and Twitter, creating a large impact and many impressions and more awareness about Dash. Also, I can point to the existing Dash School by previous proposal done by “Team Morocco” and how Fanduel has adopted Dash to become its primary reward for bets placed on the NBA All-Star Weekend!

Hello DASH network, my name is Zakaria, I’m from from Morocco and I'm 27 years old. I study medicine and I'm a basketball player with the national team of Morocco. I have a lot of medals for my achievements in basketball. I’m also a big fan of Dash so I’ve become a translator for Dash Nation. My experience in the cryptocurrency world started 1 year ago with Bitcoin just like everyone else but I didn't stop looking for other coins on coinmarketcap. I found Dash and I became interested to know more about Dash Digital Cash.

2. What have I done for Dash?
A. I translated dashinformer.com + Project dash core ( whitepaper.md ) + Project dash videos +
Project dash wallet ( android ) + Two infographic ( The_Dash_Difference + Misconceptions ) to Arabic language .
B. I organized two meetups in Morocco helping my friends to how install and use dash wallet .

3. Why does Morocco need Dash ?
It's important to know that it's a developing country.Moroccans are a very dynamic social and enterprising kind of people and very
receptive to new technology. They are often early adopters but few have bought into crypto and almost none of them know about Dash.
4. What will I do ?
My proposal is going to be focused on creating awareness and building trust among Moroccan people and letting them know more about Dash. I want to let Moroccan basketball players and the audience to know that there is an alternative to Bitcoin. Since Bitcoin has such high fees and slow transactions people don’t use it like money. They just hold it or are not interested at all. Dash can help my fellow Moroccans in a real way as an everyday currency because of low fees and fast transactions.
5. What are the Benefits ?
This Proposal aims to create a big Dash community and buzz with merchant adoption in Morocco.
Many Moroccans love sports, including basketball, volleyball,soccer, etc. and are early adopters of new technology. However, Moroccans are not easily persuaded by online videos due to scammers and conflicts of interest. I feel like Dash has an undeservedly bad reputation in crypto and I will help raise the opinion about Dash since it will impact my local communities and
cities with this promotion; tying sports with new technology. Moroccans are very personable and going to a high level sporting event and being able to learn something new will be a popular attraction and a great way to introduce Dash to Moroccans.
- The basketball competitions and Education Events will have 240 players from 4 different cities I'll have approximately 50 person audience for each match.
- Approximately 300-500 new users will be engaged withDash (i.e. wallets created).
- Approximately 60% of new users will make at least one payment with Dash on site to local vendors accepting Dash for food and drinks
- Approximately 10,000 per one match engagements through social media (roughly estimated).
6. Project In Details :
Education Events
1. The firstplan I will make an events to share Dash with the my fellow basketball players
and the audience. Why do I begin with the events? Because I should give all
details and let them know what is Dash, how they can use the Dash wallet and
how they can send and receive Dash. That will give Dash a big community in
Morocco and also it'll help me for my second plan when I'll pay the teams on
the competitions and send giveaways to the audience.
- I'll organize a place to educate the players and theaudience to know more about Dash and I'll register the teams who they will
participate in the basketball competitions and I'll give tickets to audience to
come and see the competitions .

- For each city I'll start the event on the Monday of each week. The event will last 5 hours.

2. The second planis a basketball tournament. The Dash basketball teams will be the first in the
world to be funded by Dash blockchain technology. Basketball and soccer are
without doubt the most popular sports in Africa . Basketball in Morocco has
become more popular, maybe you heard in the last African Cup of Clubs , Morocco
club from my city were the winners. Also to give Moroccan basketball players an
introduction to cryptocurrency and let them know Dash gives them a start in
this new world. I trust they'll be more interested and that's my goal, to let
them use and buy Dash and hold it because it becomes worth more over time, I
believe this is the coin of the future. As everyone knows all the people in the
world play basketball or soccer in the street just for fun so if they'll hear
about real competition in the stadium supported by Dash they'll be interested
to know what's Dash – Digital Cash? Imagine you're basketball player and you'll
get a chance to share your basketball skills and also if you win or you lose
competition you'll win a new thing that can change your basketball life .
- There will be 10 teams in this competition. Each team consists of 6 players and I'll create two groups for these 10 teams (Group A
and Group B )
- The winning team gets 1 Dash and the 9 other teams will get 0.15 Dash each. You'll ask why we should to pay the losers? Because we need
to get their trust and give them good start and also let them see Dash is the best coin in the world. We want to grow the Dash community in Morocco.

3. The third plan is " Dash Giveaway to the audience " a person will have to take
a picture of the dash player and share it of his / her facebook or twitter
account by using a tag #dashbasketball following that, the person send to me their
wallet's public address through either facebook or twitter and I will make the
transfer after validating the completion of the task. After receiving the
money, the person will have the opportunity to use Dash to buy some food or
beverages from the Dash caterer. I'm planning to giveaway 5-10 usd per person (depending
on the value of Dash at the time and how big the audience is), which we could
distribute to approximately 30-50 audience for each match . considering that a
person has on average 200 facebook or twitter friends . then 50 shares results
in potentially 10,000 engagements per one match .
The beauty of this plan is that i'm going to make a deal with one of the local caterers , who will accept dash as a payment. That's
because everybody who receives dash via giveaway can use it on site and become familiar with the system and ease of use .
7. Before and after the Basketball Competitions :
I will create facebook and twitter page which will be used
to post all news , including ( pictures and videos ) and to
serve as platform to promote dash.

Masternode owners should give this dude a chance to take Dash to the Arabic speaking countries. Also, he has got @instantkarma as escrow to check milestone achievements and delivery for the network.

I am sorry, but I am going to vote no, simply because we would be complicating your life. In addition to this regulation in your country, there is no ROI for Dash. And I think there are other more interesting options with some kind of ROI for Dash.

Many people here still trading in cryptocurrency without problems . And you can check localbitcoins.com and alot of website of buy or seling or trading you'll find moroccan people still use cryptocuruncy . And also even if they start to their plans to ban cryptocurrency we won't give up , as i said before We are a cohesive people .
All the countries want to ban cryptocurrency because they know that's the future .
We shouldn't give in to them if we want a prosperous future .

Yes you right the idea about giveaway to audience i didn't write it before but if you check the comments again you'll find a members ( Guillermo Velazco ) he comment for my pre proposal and give me this idea and i found it it good to add it in my proposal .
Also i wrote 50 audience per event maybe the event will have more then that .
So our goal to share dash to all conturies it's not about the idea . Also my proposal is about basketball . Not cardrift , so i hope you're proposal to pass . As i said our goal to share dash in our countury .
That is AFTER we posted our real proposal online. I read your pre-proposal before and it didn't include any of our ideas before, especially these exact lines. If you're doing a lame copy-paste then definitely do not say that we have actually copied you?
I'm not sure why you're contaminating the comments of this proposal and accusing Zakaria of somehow being a "rip-off". This proposal is incorporating basic, tried and true methods of engaging the audience at events and anti-fraud measures to reward members for joining Dash Nation. These methods have been developed long before your claim suggests and are "open source." Right now you look like salty passive-aggressive patent trolls that Dash Core is trying to protect us from. Please don't be offended by the early negative votes - it is happening to many proposals. If you stay positive and refrain from engaging in further friendly-fire, perhaps yours could pass as well.

However, probably the biggest drawback of yours is the audience, 50 people per event is extremely low...I'd aim for few thousands.
Hopefully I see even more projects emerging which follow our vision and ideas...
