Proposal description

This proposal looks to claim for DASH a position to be integrated Permanently to the
upcoming ROKOS flavors releases. (one time payment - permanent addition/updates)

ROKOS leads the Cryptocurrency + IoT integration environment since June 2015.

V4 had more than 1,400 downloads,  V5 just released.

ROKOS is a new Operating System released for the different IoT devices, which
includes integrated Cryptocurrencies fullnodes / fully functional clients and nodes out of the box.

It had and continues to have great coverage over different cryptocurrency / tech / fintech networks,
Recently was featured over TechCrunch for the CES2016 Las Vegas, among others.

TechCrunch: http://techcrunch.com/2016/01/04/the-rokos-core-os-turns-your-raspberry-pi-into-a-bitcoin-node/

At the moment ROKOS just released its V5 flavors OS for Raspberry Pi 2 devices, and the new version for Pi 3
should be released in the coming weeks.

Next immediate ROKOS event on line among others: CoinfestUK (Sponsor)

If your not sure what that is, please let me know....
I'll find you the Git-Hub link :-D
Nothing worse than finding your MN crashed and/or timed out - lol

I'm being lazy now after holiday and a long day of 'welcome home' - ugh

Would it be useful to include the instantX vender software in it?

after some consideration i decided to vote yes, supporting these kind of devices (which will hopefully tech advance into much faster and efficient devices) through these Rokos releases sounds like something Dash could benefit from. Hopefully by the time Dash puts hardware demands to running masternodes in order to upscale the network, these kind of devices will already be third generation.

If ROKOS knows what's good for it, it'll do this anyway... This is like Actors having to pay a fee for people to watch their movies, instead of selling movie tickets... It's cheap enough that stupid can be done without much ill effect, but it's still stupid.

It feels like someone is testing the waters and/or trying to set a false precedent for something bigger...

So....... Am I to understand that this is gonna be a Plug-N-Play DASH Full Node..... setup *.img file to run on the Pi2b and Pi3b?

Hopefully with a couple of tweaks we'd get it running as a MN :-P

Gonna need more info to get my YEA vote.

That is correct, it is an OS image ready to burn and use, will cover releases for Pi2, Pi3, PINE64+ and new IoT devices (so far released for Pi 2 devices)

I have already voted NEA
Give me more of a reason to vote YEA
Github ?
Proof you actually "working" for/with this group
etc
etc

Ya see - this is what happens when folks don't discuss proposals first.....

Let's see some proof?

Its got to support masternodes out the box as well to receive my vote(s)

Correct, it integrates the clients/nodes with full working features.

i think its important that budget proposals get pre-discussed on Dashtalk.org first, so you can get some solid feedback
which you can then apply in the final budget proposal. This budget proposal seems to be either lacking details or is purely focussed on Raspberry Pi owners who are familiar with this alternative OS (or not).

I am setting up the thread tomorrow (been trying since yesterday, but as my account is new in the forums I shall wait for another 24hrs before being able to create a thread). It is focuses on wide range of IoT devices with more than 1gb Ram, (Banana Pi, Raspberry Pi 2, Raspberry Pi 3, PINE64+ etc)

P.S: We are official Backer for the upcoming PINE64+ devices which pack twice the power of Pi 2/3 devices, and will have an official release for it as well (no extra cost for all permanent added cryptocurrencies)

"Pre-discussed on Dashtalk.org first"

Now you have everybody - THE VOTERS - running around, hoping, that this is real. Not you "Q", already know you're in my boat :-P
(and I still luvs ya :-D

Please, may I have another [many more]?
.....reason(s) to even consider this Proposal?

Thanks for your support!
Among other things IoT is the future of Tech devices, in the coming years I can see even fridges and house articles making use of them, In this area having the cryptocurrencies integrated gives a chance for users/developers to start creating their own control applications for example with the use of their own currencies.

Another great reason is that at this moment for example, a lot of companies are migrating to the use of IoT devices, in some cases saving them between 40-60% over energy costs alone.

Another good reason, The way ROKOS is designed, it keeps making promotion for itself and the base currencies, + the independent Promotion from each currency is what s been helping it become a favorite since last year, so any included currency benefits from all of it together, in aims to become friendly for new users while at the same time having the links for more advances users that want to start developing or testing the currencies with their own applications.

IoT + Crypto = real way to impulse and support decentralized systems which at the same time empowers the users, ROKOS breaks the cost wall from users to get this devices, they can get the devices from wherever they find the best deal and then just download ROKOS for free and having your own devices for w/e the use (hard wallet, fullnode, check system, services node, new control apps, etc) the imagination and sky are the limit.

OKtoshi,

What would the 95 DASH be used for?
Reply

Hi, ROKOS is released for free to the final users, the OS is free for download, and so far it includes Bitcoin and another 11 cryptocurrencies that have claimed a position (To claim a position each cryptocurrency has paid the donation fee, which is used to pay for the development of the platform, acquire new devices for new compatibility releases, promotion and support of the system (partnership and sponsorship for different platforms, systems/events, like coinfestUK, startnodes, PINE64+, etc), same way it is a one time payment, which makes DASH a permanent addition to the system, meaning all future updates/releases will include DASH out of the box.
