Proposal description

In the current climate when Facebook and Google are banning advertisements of cryptocurrencies and prices of crypto are constantly declining it is more important than ever to partner with strong media brands that have resources and infrastructure to promote Dash to a targeted audience.

Sponsor Truth Theory Media for 12 part video series, sitewide sponsorship and dedicated Dash content.

Truth Theory want to partner with Dash to help grow both of our platforms and challenge the current unfair and unstable power structure. We are proposing sponsorship for a 12 part series of open letter videos (and articles) addressing much of societies problems we are currently facing. The core theme of the videos will be how all of these issues have links to the financial system and how Dash can work as part of the solution. The series will be produced by our award winning film director Marko Randelovic. These videos will be published on various platforms (Youtube, Facebook etc) and promoted throughout our network of partners and influencers. This part of our campaign is designed to evoke emotional response and has strong viral potential, we will also have a dedicated page on our website covering the video series and Dash.
We believe that with the latest restrictions Google and Facebook have placed on advertisers that it is important for cryptocurrencies to find alternative means of exposure. This is why alongside the video series, we are also offering dedicated content, site wide sponsorship and branding on all our videos and content.

     2. A dedicated “Open Letters To Humanity” solutions page with Dash being featured.

     3. Exclusive branding of all video content produced by Truth Theory (20 videos per month). All video content produced over the next 3 months will have a “Powered by Dash” watermark and outro with a link to our dedicated Dash page. 

     4. Banner ads on our website. The different banners will have a link to different pages so we can reach people who have a different understanding of Dash and cryptocurrency.

- First banner: “Comparing Bitcoin with Dash” and redirecting readers to a dedicated page listing all the benefits of Dash (link) The reason? We believe many people recognise Bitcoin, but don’t know what Dash is. We want to capture their attention and show how Dash is solving many issues Bitcoin cannot.

Example of banner1:

- Second banner: “Will Cryptocurrencies destroy banks?” This will be linked with a web page explaining how decentralized technologies like blockchain have potential to replace banks and how Dash is playing a significant role in this revolution.
- Third banner will be sending people to directly.

     5. We will write 2 dedicated articles per month about Dash, how to buy it, how to use a wallet, what are the benefits, how it is different etc. We can create article ideas and have the Dash community approve them before writing.

     6. We will provide a monthly KPI report.

Dash will have sponsorship on all content created in the next 3 months, with an estimated 50 million impressions.

Budget (Estimate)
The investment will be to sponsor our video series, expand our team and replace revenue streams provided by our current advertising partners.

Site wide and video sponsorship $45,000 per month

Costs will cover our team of writers, video editors, technical team, social media managers, acquisition of traffic, hosting, security and licences.

We have an audience that are very much looking for solutions to the world's problems. We also have a diverse team who have skills in creative, marketing and traffic acquisition: we believe that we can not only bring banner impressions to Dash, but create a campaign that will educate and raise awareness of what Dash is and give the Dash community a return on its investment.

  • 3rd of May second payment released (using Escrow service)
  • Open Letter Video Series 4 episodes released on May: 6, 13, 20, 27
  • 20 branded videos published during the month
  • 3 Banner ads running throughout the month on connected with dedicated articles and
  • 2 additional Articles published about Dash in May

June targets:
  • 1st of June KPI report with the stats for May published on Dash forum.
  • 2nd of June third payment released (using Escrow service)
  • Open Letter Video Series 4 episodes released on June: 3, 10, 17, 24
  • 20 branded videos published during the month
  • 3 Banner ads running throughout the month on connected with dedicated articles and

July targets:
  • 1st of July KPI report with the stats for June published on Dash forum.
  • Open Letter Video Series final episode released on July 1st
  • If the 50mln combined impressions on all the Dash branded content has not been reached the campaign continues until the goals are reached.

Dash's technology really needs to become more 'grandma friendly'....we don't compete with the banks yet, on many levels.

London based group huh. Pakistani based Muslim rape gangs have been brought to light across the UK, whilst police have apparently stepped aside. No one has ever been convicted of FGM in the UK. Acid and knife attacks are rising in London. Britain has not seen anything yet.

Having looked at the TruthTheory website and looked into some of the members, I don't detect too much millennial SJW nonsense, but it is there.
I will refrain from going into some detail.

I am not opposed to greed in general. Greed is required for survival and has lead to strength within surviving species. Too many millennials have been indoctrinated by feminist / Marxist leaning school teachers who don't know what it is like to run a business in the real world. Easy, when you live with current western capitalist decadence (where feminists never complain about the lack of women collecting garbage or tiling roofs). I hope generation Z is a lot more grounded and smarter (on average).

With my current thoughts about the dubious ROI of digital marketing in Dash (which I trust but with professionalism in other areas) and the uncertainties of their proposal.

Hey blockchaintech, thanks for your feedback. If you look properly, our campaign is designed to educate people about Dash or at least make them excited about it, and promote it as a solution to the problems generated by the current financial system and banks. On top of it, we are the only ones that guarantee views and this is a large number of views. Most campaigns that are getting funded might get some views or might not. There were several in the past where you would have someone creating a video series promoting Dash but the whole thing got only few thousand views in total. You can create some kind of campaign, but do you have ways to promote it? We work with many partners that can help with necessary marketing if needed and we proved again and again that we can generate millions of views.

Dozens of campaigns of that style have already been financed which months later, it is seen that they have not had any type of ROI.

A visit, does not imply a new user. What would you think if I told you that:
I every week with my day to day and networking people I get users for Dash? And I have not asked for a dollar from the treasury. Users, not visits.

You know how much a new user costs for Dash educated face to face, which is the best job. 40min to 1h of average time.

I am a defender of face to face events (talks, conferences, meetings) because at the end of those events, if the speaker is good he will seduce his assistants, and these with the network effect, will in turn seduce other people . But from the Internet with digital marketing, you can not do that. You can reach 10 thousand people and seduce 10, and not have metrics to see if they have become users.

Meanwhile, in personalized events, face to face, a minimum user ROI of 20% can be achieved with metrics that can be measured.

Digital marketing is powerful, but it has to be very, very professional and segmented and for that there are professional agencies that do not give you visits, they give you users.

Events may be the best way to convert users, however, potential users only attend once they are aware of Dash or crypto. Most people will become aware online, due to the sheer number of people visiting websites and forums.

Without an online presence, it's impossible for anything to grow on a mass scale and currently very tiny amount of people even heard about Dash.

Sometimes it's easy to look at the end result e.g. A conversation which turned into a dash user. Without taking into account how they arrived at the event/conversation.

Our campaign tries to educate people on Dash in different ways, one is to compare it with something that most people recognize already (Bitcoin):

NOTE: MNO be careful people can inflate their interaction statistics or buy likes or bullshit traffic from bots to inflate stats.

if he had that kind of following he would get alot more than 2.6k views on a vid.

Hey Unchained, we have been around for 10 years and are not inflating our stats. In terms of YouTube we do not share content on YouTube, our main platform for video is Facebook, and this is were we get most of our video engagement. Our website numbers can be independently verified on The content on Facebook can take time to get views, we are still getting traffic from posts that are constantly shared on Facebook that we published few weeks ago.

Our plan for this year is to expand on Youtube, we need to have more staff to be able to do it properly, therefore, we need additional funding. Please keep in mind that we plan on sharing the videos on Youtube as well and embed them in our articles and share with our partners, but most views might be coming from Facebook.

Nice teaser - the free market requires that we give more than we take, thus win/wins and wealth creation. I like that the Dash logo is featured prominently throughout.

Hi Craigmason, I’m glad that you like the teaser. In terms of the monthly report, it will include the following:
- Regular video views branded by Dash (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Youtube etc.)
- Open Letter Series views (Facebook, Twitter, Youtube etc.)
- Page impressions containing banners with Dash content.
- Direct clicks to
- Page impressions on that include: Dash related articles, Open letter page, Dedicated Dash page etc.

The promotion will most likely start getting more views in the following months as the content will continue to be shared, therefore we expect views to increase over time.

The 50mln impressions will include, combined video views and page impressions with Dash content/banners. If we won’t reach 50mln combined impressions in the 3 month period, we will continue posting Dash branded content until we reach the target.

Hello.. thanks for the proposal! I have to say that personally I don't like the sensationalist and overdramatic style of the teasers. I would click away fast. The underlying message is good though, and your website doesn't give off that sensationalist vibe either. I voted yes before having seen the teasers, but now I'm doubting.

I must say that we have been producing content for many years and are able to create content that people enjoy, we had millions of people viewing and sharing our videos. Quite a raw teaser I like it!
On the surface for many people that are new to the crypto space it is regarded as some kind of fun internet money craze or a potentially lucrative short term investment. I think it’s important to stay grounded, focus on real world solutions and understand how we got here in the first place. I have the impression that many folks in the Dash community share the same thoughts this matter and for the most part are able to ride out the volatility because they believe in what Dash is planning to achieve for the long term. Alternative media resources such as yours are in my opinion necessary to recalibrate the role of “decentralized peer-to-peer electronic cash” in this day and age as Satoshi himself intended, and reach out to those that wish to be a part of Dash during these extraordinary times. Funny, I kind of like greed which is why I like the idea of getting a piece of your 43 million views in the last year. I like Ben Swann, too, but his videos are a bit light on Dash promotion for the amount of money we dished out to him.

I'm going to probably vote yes on this, but some re-assurances regarding the extent of Dash promotion in the videos would help.

Thanks for your feedback. We designed our campaign so we offer more educational approach about Dash and not only empty impressions. Each video (we will publish 60 regular ones in 3 months) will have outro with the link to a dedicated page on our website about Dash. Also, the Open Letter Series will only be featuring Dash as an example of a decentralized system that gives power back to the people. Here is an example mentioning Dash in the pilot video:
