Good demographics to be sure! What's the plan for excess funds now that Dash appears to be on a mega-bull run!

I also think this would be an incredibly strong video to promote in-flight:

We need to add subtitles.. It's a huge flaw considering most people don't use headphones to watch ads..

Other than that I love the proposal :)

How difficult/expensive would it be to scale this up even further? I love this form of advertising, and we have such a huge budget now.

Would be amazing to see this on airlines worldwide.

We have been working on getting the Video approved by many Airlines world wide but unfortunately the Video was declined by many Airlines, particularly in Asia, on the grounds that is a "CrytoCurrency" and that the regulation, or lack of, did not permit it. In order to run this Video on a few of these airlines we had to cut out the reference to Bitcoin and the animation of the fist punching the bank.

However, The Video was just recently approved by two more Airlines and we will be submitting the proposal for those Airlines soon.

Yes again. Somebody check my math, but I think that's 1.6 cents per person, and even if only half of them actually watch, that's still only 3.2 cents per person per view. And it's a juicy demographic....

Do you know what percentage of people actually have headphones on when these run? Would it be a good idea to add subtitles?

It is difficult to determine the number of people wearing headphones on any given flight. We assume the viewers choosing the free in-flight programming have intent to actually watch and engage in the feature. At the end of the video there’s a long segment that clearly displays “Dash.org” across the screen, and we believe that alone is an effective part of this video ad.

Is there a way to track how many people have come to dash as a result of watching this in-flight media campaign?
Any body here on dash central found out about dash by watching one of these ads?
Reply
2 points,6 years ago
It is difficult to track who visits Dash.org at the time of airing but that might not be an accurate measure of who is influenced by the Ad. It is likely that this advertisement will familiarize people with Dash who then may recall, and visit Dash.org, at a later time.

This is top demographics and since you've already delivered on a previous proposal I'm happy to move forward. Voting yes.

Thank you! We appreciate this acknowledgment and your continued support. We'll continue to update the Dash community on this campaign, and we have a lot of exciting things that we're working on aside from advertising that we hope to have formalized and submitted soon.

Again the airplanes? Of course not. Just thrown away money.

I'm sure this proposal will pass, here people like airplanes.

Actually, this proposal has very little to do with Airplanes. The goal of this proposal is to reach an exepitional demographic, of over to 24 million people, who happen to be on a plane.
