I'm curious to see what Envy Creative can come up with and there is really only one way of finding out, so you got my support for this budget proposal.

What about Dash Bug Bounty program you get founded? can you please show us a report of how you spent 330 Dash and all the activities you made?

This new proposal is high expensive, I have worked in video production and 90 Dash (~$17550) is a great amount of money, is a studio involved? without equipment?

Please can you make a full description of the expenses?

Regarding the Dash Bug Bounty program, you will find updates here:
https://www.dash.org/forum/threads/pre-proposal-dash-bug-bounty-program-by-bugcrowd.15321/

Yes, a studio is involved and all the equipment, as well as professional actors, writers, editors. This is from the Envy Creative website:

www.thinkenvy.com/services/
"We offer an all-inclusive service, so we can do everything from creating the concept/script, pre-production, filming and post production, including the editing, effects, and music."

The pricing is all inclusive, so there is no breakdown of expenses.

It seems you like the "all inclusive" budget, like your previous "Bug Bounty Program". But the community always request a detailed description of expenses.

About "dash Bounty Program"... you really don´t have an update, How many bugs reported? about what? from who? how get paid that people and which criteria was used?

About this proposa.... please can you be more specific about the videos, duration, quantity, storyboard, feeling...etc?

Again, if you have questions about the Bug Bounty program, go to the forum and I will gladly answer them for you. It is off-topic to discuss the Bub Bounty program here.

Yes, I prefer the "all inclusive" budget because I work with companies like Envy Creative and BugCrowd who provide a full service for a flat rate.

This proposal is for one video that will be less than 3 minutes. It will be informative, entertaining and memorable to the average non-tech user. Details about how that will be executed will be determined after we have engaged Envy Creative.

I'm sorry if that is not enough for you. I hope you will abstain rather than vote no.

Thank you for your reply. So if I understood well:

1. They have a flat rate, because you have not determined details but they ask that amount.

2. Sorry... but it´s ridiculous to pay 90 Dash (~$17550) for ONE video of 3 minutes. This have no sense.

This proposal don´t should be funded imho.

re: 1. There are creative details upon which their price quote is based. I do not want this to be a discussion about the creative details, so I am not sharing them.

re: 2. It sounds like you are not familiar with the cost of producing broadcast quality video by professionals. 30-second commercial spots can cost well over $100,000. This proposal is a bargain considering what we get for the price.

You are entitled to your opinion, and I respect that. I hope you will abstain rather than vote no.

Do you promise not ukulele music ;)

The best way to do this would be to make a 90 dash for one video contract and let people bid on it, with storyboards. Those example videos are just ok...

I was kind of hoping to do a Hawaiian theme... :-)

Didn't expect you to already submit it this cycle. Since I am waiting for what the Core Marketing Firm is going to do I will have to abstain from this.

Although I think this proposal will only be helpful to the "Core Marketing Firm", thanks for abstaining rather than voting no.

My personal opinion on the proposal is that there are enough videos online explaining dash, many of them do an exceptional job. I don't think we need to spend 90 Dash on yet another online video.

You are right ctafti, but we also can't underestimate the value of a well designed commercial designed for widespread distribution. Of the many videos explaining Dash so far I would have to scratch my head to pick one that would be suitable enough for that very purpose. I believe we are in need of an outstanding introduction video. Seems like these guys are skilled and up for the challenge. Voting yes.

Have you created a story board?

We have a first draft script, but I don't want to get into a debate about creative opinions. Committees are the worst way to do creative work.

The URL for the website should be http://thinkenvy.com (not https).

Thanks! I sort of fixed it. The proposal editor automatically replaces http:// with https:// so I had to remove the hyperlink altogether.
