It appears they're focused in Puerto Ordaz which is on the opposite side of the country from Maracaibo. So my question to you is, have you seen these efforts from BCH community?

If so, do you have any plans to respond to them? If you found it necessary, I would definitely support another, separate proposal to transport the Mall & Parking strategy to that portion of the country and prevent BCH from claiming territory there.

Hello, The RealDashMan surely we can achieve good things for Dash in other states, with the same or better results than in Merida Venezuela, however, the low budget requested has not allowed us to expand rather to consolidate the Project.

Definitely our team is prepared to apply the same strategy of consumer adoption, commercial adoption and Dash Sales programs that will allow the Self-Sustainability of the Project over time, we would like to know if other Masternodes are agree to a new separate proposal to counter the terrain BCH is taking.

Voting yes. I spoke with Yoana and Hiliary yesterday on a Signal call. They informed me that they wanted to get started with the full trials of the POS systems including Dash Retails however currently the Malls are closed due to the coronavirus lock-down. The team informed me that the malls are scheduled to re-open again on 14th May. However this may be subject to change depending on how things develop. The team have managed to obtain 2000 transactions per month without yet receiving the DASH cards or a batch of POS systems. They only have a few units only. The team ideally want a batch of POS systems and a large batch of DASH cards so they can trial them in the malls. Once the cards are available I would expect the transactions numbers to significantly increase. The team informed me that people want and are asking for the DASH cards but currently they do not have any to give to them. They only have a few initial cards to do basic tests with. The team are looking forward to the Malls re-opening. I understood that they are also setting up deals with some big brand companies however I do not know if I should disclose the names of those companies or not.

Once again I need to emphasis I cannot validate 100 for sure the information I was given. However the team were able to answer very specific questions and gave me some useful feedback to relay on to Dash Retail on the requirements for the Dash Retail device for their specific environment.

If we did not have the coronavirus problem the teams would have received the cards and POS systems for the Malls however what they are working on currently are a number of alliances with some reputable and large brand name companies for other DASH services. From the call I had it is clear the team have in the forefront of their minds to become self sustaining financially.

Thank you for this field report. If verified, and I have no reason to doubt about it, I can see our transactions increasing dramatically from these card intiatives. This is a solid Yes! indeed.

I think I may have commented on the wrong proposal, yes Yoanna has addressed my question regarding revenue models, even during the lockdown, to my satisfaction, voting yes.

50% of the shopping center stores keep working from home, as does our team.

We activate a campaign in conjunction with the stores of the shopping centers where we promote the purchase of products and payment of services with Dash from home, with Delivery or Pickup service, this campaign allows merchants to increase their sales without the need to acquire wireless FIAT points of sale with high costs to be able to provide delivery service and make payments to its customers, Dash continues to be a solution for this since it allows businesses to send their Dash wallets and receive their payments before making deliveries, instantly and with low commissions and It has worked well.

We recognize that in difficult times Dash is still the solution and to achieve mass adoption in this period, we are informing many people about Dash (Benefits, ways to buy Dash by whatsapp and others) and this is only possible by working in conjunction with stores, and offering the Dash Sales system without obstacles in the same way that we do in shopping centers.

Shopping centers begin their normal work in the first days of May, so we can meet all the objectives set out in the proposal.

Yes, it is true the shopping centers are not working 100%, however, our main focus is the parking lots and we do have numbers that report the transactions that have been carried out in parking lot of shopping centers

Wow, 3 months with ~1000 transactions /month from Dash Mall and parking and Eletropay POS integration! This is true adoption. There are NO OTHER teams in the Dash DAO nor any other cryptocurrency, that has provided this level of adoption and generated a solid use-case for Dash. This is excellent work, thank you!

Think of it like this: the DAOs that we pay to work for us, including Dash Mall and Parking, are like employees or independent contractors with the Dash DAO. If we don't pay them, its hard to consider that they still work for us. Certainly they may feel the need to continue out of affiliation or passion, but the DAO isn't here for that.

The DAO is here to provide funding for the decentralized teams around the globe working for us. Therefore, there should be NO reason short of fraud or failure for us to withhold funds. Being able to pay our teams during shutdown is a *blessing*, not a curse. As MNOs, our job is to vote Yes! for proposals that spread Dash and No! to proposals that don't. Dash Mall and Parking has consistently for over a year proven to be committed to Dash. So you "thinking of withholding funds" is, imo, unnecessary and baseless.

The treasury FILLS BACK UP every month! We don't have to and should NOT be stingy. Our pressure should be to spread as much Dash as possible, not pinch pennies. The reason we went from 6,000 active android wallets to more than 63,000 active android wallets in Venezuela is not because we pinched pennies, but because we wholeheartedly supported the teams like Dash Mall and Parking with funding when they needed it.

I see no reason to discontinue that behavior now. The burden of proof is on those who wish to defund teams to present their case, not on proven teams to prove themselves over and over again. They also clearly state in the proposal that Dash is still being used for purchases of essentials and that it is one of the few methods of payment working during this period to do so. So let's not shoot ourselves in the foot, shall we?

Dash machine go brrrrr? That is your argument? Is it too much to ask for teams not directly involved with critical infrastructure have some plan for a revenue stream outside the DAO teat? My question about revenue numbers stands unanswered.

That meme is about infinite inflation and money printing. Dash already has a cap on inflation so that is a disingenuous representation of my position. Having to rely on a false mischaracterization of your opponent's argument is a considerable handicap that indicates the rhetorical and mental weakness of your own position.

With a capped, fixed inflation rate plus the ability to renew our treasury every month, yes it is a *significant* advantage over other coins that we can afford to simply pay our way to the top, and it is a STUPID THING to defund teams because they don't fit your view on "revenue streams".

Where was this talk of "revenue streams" when DFN was eating 325 Dash for 4 months? Where was this talk about "revenue" when Joel was also pushing funding out of DashBoost and preventing teams in Iran, Haiti and other countries from getting payment. You guys act like you don't want to pay anyone. You act happy when teams like KuvaCash are defunded, DashBrazil loses its youtube channel (back now), and teams like Dash Venezuela get defunded. You know who else does that? Trolls who lie about our coin and want to see us fail. They get visibly happy when our teams in Venezuela are defunded as well. Coincidence? You decide...

Anyway, where was this need to see "sustainability" then for DFN and Joel? Even now, DashPressNewsRoom's proposal has hundreds of Yes! votes, even though there is no metrics or "adoption" or transactions or any sort of way to determine ROI. **AND YOU'RE PERFECTLY FINE WITH THIS**.

I read a lot of proposals and comments on proposals, and I've never seen you make these criticisms where you pretend to be "on the fence" and just "need convincing" with other POs. Can you provide evidence where you have so we all know that you're not a hypocrite? When you were supporting George Donnelly's LatAm team, did you have any proof or evidence that George was providing the ROI and self-sustainability that you claim is so important now for this team? Did you make the same lame excuses to defund them then as well? Or are you just being hypocritical again?

You call it the "DAO teat", which is charged language intended to emotionally turn others against the idea of using the DAO for the VERY PURPOSE it was created for. This is not a "teat", it is a funding mechanism in order to provide our global teams with the necessary liquidity TO MAKE YOUR INVESTMENT WORTH MORE.

You should have more respect for these teams, and be much more careful in your thoughts towards defunding them, since that makes your investment, and the rest of ours worth less. In other words, if you succeed in defunding these teams in Venezuela, you're going to have a lot more enemies than just those teams.

You're now threatening millions of dollars of investment in Venezuela by trying to establish a base from which your criticisms can eventually be used to justify punitively shutting down these teams. Sure, it'll be about "Performance" and "transactions" and "ROI. But we ALL KNOW THAT'S BULLSHIT. We know how "employment" works.

You extract as much resources fromy our "employee" as possible, and when they don't do what you want, YOU TWIST THE SCREWS ON THEM LIKE THE MOB. That's how it works in the West and that's what we're trying to get away from in Digital Cash.

We want to exist with financial and political freedom away from the hypocrites and sycophantic LIARS who wish to destroy our coin, but need plausible cover in order to prevent being attacked by our network. In other words, YOU have provided NO justification why these teams specifically need to possess a "revenue stream" or be defunded. Which means your accusation is highly likely to be founded on motivations that are only beneficial for you and detrimental towards the network.

Have you ever held another PO hostage with these "questions" while threatening to defund them which basically is you ignoring and devaluing their years of hard work? Why are you treating our good teams in Venezuela as if they have failed and need this unwarranted extra scrutiny? FUND THEM AND LET THEM WORK.

NONE OF THE DAOS HAVE A REVENUE STREAM OUTSIDE THE DAO AND YOU HATEFUL ANTI-THIRD WORLD MASTERNODE CABAL MEMBERS KILLED THE PROPOSALS THAT DID, LIKE KUVACASH. KuvaCash is supposed to be a 'scissor statement' in our community, that triggers individuals no matter what side they are on so it can be used as a wedge to split our network. Which is why the anti-kuva people keep twisting the screws and bringing it up after maliciously working to defund them, in the same way as your unncessary comments does.

If you want to understand what "scissor statements" are, I wrote a thread on the subject a year ago in order to make the attack well-known. Briefly from that post:

These scissor statements are used to cause an emotional split between two separate but related groups. People emotionally take a side and then you can just keep spamming "KuvaCash" in order to "trigger" your opponents and make the discussion devolve into severe infighting.

Scissor statements are very powerful psychological weapons and they are undefeatable once they get started (they almost always succeed in splitting up their target communities); however, scissor statements possess a fatal and fundamental flaw: They are completely ineffective against people who decide to be neutral on the topic, even if they were a strong supporter of one side or the other before.

So, by deliberately being neutral and considering the pros and cons of both sides, you actually will come to a well-reasoned conclusion instead of a split, which is why scissor statements are dangerous to use. Instead of splitting the community, if the community is like ours, the scissor statement will make your group stronger due to the enhanced reasoning ability neutrality provides. This is what we need to combat this anti-Third world kick that has been going around lately.

How many times does this have to be said? DASH IS *NOT A BUSINESS*! We are NOT trying to prove "capitalism works" or that "you need to run a business to be successful". This obsession with "revenue streams" and "sustainability" is a RED-HERRING. I also predicted in that thread that fights over economic definitions for the network also had the potential to be "scissor statements" because of the strong emotional attachment to "right-left" politics and their associated economic paradigms. But since Dash is a completely different, new paradigm, such arguments are not relevant and thus must be viewed as subtle attacks from our competition.

Especially since without this vital funding, these teams WON'T WANT TO WORK FOR US ANYMORE. Which means NO MORE GROWTH AND ADOPTION. Why on EARTH would you guys want something like that? Perhaps you have other motivations that don't align with Dash growing large in LatAm? Why are you desperately advocating that teams in LaTam have to face special hurdles that other teams do not? The end result of your actions and calls to defund teams for petty reasons, is less growth and less adoption. Your question about revenue is NOT INTELLIGENT.

So either you don't know what you're doing and you should stop posting about these teams with your leading "questions", or you DO KNOW what you're doing and you REALLY should stop posting about them. Either way, I can't see how you wanting to defund/withhold funds from these teams over trite technicalities could in anyway benefit the network. If your actions succeed we will have less growth, less adoption and one less team working Dash.

And you would be HAPPY about it, just like others were happy in discord that Rodrigo's Youtube channel was deleted. Could it be they were happy because Rod actually has done lots of legwork for Dash and other, similar proposals don't offer nearly as much?

YOU DON'T STOP PAYING YOUR TEAMS BECAUSE THE MALL THEY'RE WORKING IN SHUTS DOWN TEMPORARILY. That's STUPID reasoning. Let's think here and use our heads together when we vote, shall we? You are LOOKING for reasons to defund the very teams that have brought and continue to bring us all this adoption in Venezuela and LatAm, and you're PRETENDING its because of "revenue" or "sustainability" or whatever. That is NOT what we're here for, so, I implore you, stop trying to force the DAO into your narrow ego-view of what a "business" should look like with "revenue streams" and blah blah blah. Stop attacking the teams that have worked hard for us in Venezuela, and stop hiding behind those weak rationales because it only makes your motivations stick out more.

Despite all that went on with Dash LaTam and defunding and all that drama, you guys somehow managed to 10x your 30-day android active wallet use! Its very impressive and I'm glad to be on the same side as the teams that accomplished that feat, go Dash Mall and Parking!
