Proposal description

1- Who we are
Dash Iran is a group of blockchain and crypto enthusiasts with lots of experiences in these fields. We got interested in Dash about 2 years ago and found Dash to be a great solution for multiple issues we face in Iran, such as inflation and isolated economy. Also international payment methods like Paypal and Master card are out of service in Iran. We came up with a plan about 3 months ago and stated our vision to make Dash as the most widespread cryptocurrency in Iran.
These are Dash Iran main team members:

2-  What Dash Iran has achieved so far
This is Dash Iran's second proposal.Dash Iran was started in May 2019, with the vision to promote Dash among Iranians and making it as the most widespread cryptocurrency in Iran. Although the first proposal couldn’t pass due to the DAO’s low budget, we received about half of the requested budget (about 25 Dash) from the kind community. This is what we’ve done so far:1- Exchange
After negotiating with AbanTether, an Iraninan fiat/crypto exchange, they now support buying and selling of Dash. Iranians can call Abantether’s number or send a text to their Telegram account to easily buy Dash with their Rials.
https://www.abantether.com/
Costs: 3 Dash
2- Dash Panel in IBSS
Iran Blockchain Summer School is the largest blockchain event in Iran and is sponsored by many Iraninan technology companies. It is a one week event on learning and developing blockchain networks and business development on blockchain and cryptocurrencies. We could convince the event’s organizers toَ allocate a complete session on Dash and its unique features. Mayhar Daneshpajouh, our technical manager will be the panelist of that session on Aug 26.
https://iranbss.ir/ Costs: 2 Dash 3- Dash Meetup
We could gather some enthusiastic students in a meetup and discussed about Dash and its opportunities for financial transactions in Iran. You can find cool pictures about this meeting here:
https://www.dash.org/forum/threads/meetup-in-iran.46913/
We got funded with a 1 Dash from dashforce for this meetup.
4- Educational Videos
Dash Iran provided 4 videos (about 35 minutes) in Persian, two being about buying and selling Dash from an Iranian online exchange (https://wallex.market/) and two others about using Coinomi wallet for sending and receiving Dash both on Android and Windows.

Costs: 2 Dash 5- Social Media
The main usage of social media for Dash Iran is promoting Dash and cryptocurrencies among Iraninan people through content creation. We made telegram, youtube and aparat channels, instagram and twitter account and hope to make them a place where Iranians gather together and share ideas and provide answers to questions.

6- Website
We have made Dash Iran website both in persian and english, in which we aim to put plenty of information about Dash and also blog posts for Iranians. We will add a new page to the website to work almost like https://discoverdash.com/ for Iraninan merchants.
Dash Iran
7- Local Tour Leader in Isfahan
HamidReza AllahDadi, a local tour leader who has about 2 and a half year of experience in tour leading foreign tourists in the Isfahan province, who is also very passionate about cryptocurrencies, joined Dash Iran as is going to help us in the future. He already started negotiating with some hostels in Isfahan to accept Dash from tourists.
Costs: 3 Dash
We also spent 5 Dash for fee submission of our second proposal. It left us with a 10 Dash amount which we plan to use in the next round. You can find this 10 Dash in the address bellow:

Donation Dash Address: XoWc7GD8dbUPbfGT5jDS5s27rzL6EeqMHb

3- What this proposal aims to achieve
We specified our mission to be promoting Dash among people, businesses and the IT community.

https://imgurl.ir/uploads/l748225_.png

In this new proposal we will cover some parts of each step with a focus on businesses that want to use Dash but right now don't have the basic tools or knowledge for that.
The rest of the proposal contains the deliverables we planned toward our goals in different sections, the section's manager and executors and also the estimated budget needed for each in Iranian Rial.

4- Business
4-1
5 Exchanges
In the first step we want to negotiate with 5 main exchanges in Iran to use Dash in their trading. We want to make it possible to convert Rial to Dash and vice versa. Also it is possible to convert other digital currencies such as Bitcoin and Ethereum to Dash. These five exchanges include:

Nobitex (https://nobitex.market/)
Exir (https://www.exir.io/)
OK-ex (https://www.ok-ex.co)
Wallex (https://wallex.market)
BidArz (https://www.bidarz.ir)

This exchanges will be leveraged to make it easy for the merchants and customers to
use Dash for their payments.

Manager: HaniehSaeeYekta
Executors: HaniehSaeeYekta, Mahdi Darabi
Costs: 200,000,000 Rials (for negotiating)

4-2
45 Merchants
The most important problem of the Iran inbound tourists is the dysfunctionality of international credit cards like Paypal, Mastercard, visa, etc. Hence, tourists are forced to carry cash to do online purchases, reserving hotels or hostels, food, etc.
We in Dash Iran, intend to lobby with several merchants like tours, hotels and hostels, handicraft shops and restaurants so that they accept Dash in addition to fiat currency. On the other hand, according to volatility of the cryptocurrency market, the merchants prefer to exchange their cryptocurrency to fiat, so in this case the exchanges have an important role. In the scope of this proposal, we will concentrate on 45 merchants in the Isfahan province. During two months we will persuade and teach them the using of Dash wallets and the way in which we intend to change that to Rial in exchanges (will be explained in the following section) so it will be in complete ease for them to accept Dash. They will be added to discoverdash.com website and Dash Iran's own website as well.

Manager: Seyed MoeinGhayumi
Executors: SeyedMoein Ghayumi, HamidReza Allahdadi (PR)
Costs: 100,000,000 Rials (for commuting) + 160,000,000 Rials (for accommodation) + 160,000,000 Rials (for negotiating with merchants)

4-3 Interface between exchanges and merchants
We intend to develop an API to provide a better connection between Merchants and Exchanges. Merchants who accept Dash are divided into 3 categories:
§  A group of merchants have Dash wallet and they want to save Dash. So, they don't have any specific problems. We just educate them about Dash wallets and security issues.
§  Some merchants are reluctant to accept the risk of keeping cryptocurrency due to market volatility. For this reason, we have to make it easy for them to convert Dash to Rial through exchanges. When merchants convert their Dash to Rial, the exchange does not settle the merchant account at the same time, and usually the settlement is carried out at the end of the day. In addition, when merchants receive money through electronic payments in Iran, they are sent an SMS containing the date and the amount of money sent to them, so they are kind of used to this and they may get worried if they don't have access to their account at that particular moment. For these reasons, we want to notify merchants with an SMS at the time that exchanges convert Dash into Rial, containing the date and the amount of Rial that is deposited by the customers to the merchant's exchange accounts so that they ensure the Rial conversion is done for them.
§  For businesses that have online purchases, a Dash payment gateway is provided by our team.

Manager: Mahyar Daneshpajouh
Executors: Mahyar Daneshpajouh (Back-end developer)
Costs: 260,000,000 Rials (for development) + 50,000,000 Rials (for server)+ 20,000,000 Rials (for SMS service)

5- Events
In our previous activities we could take a session for Dash in the IBSS event (described in 2-2 section), in which MahyarDaneshpajouh, our technical manager, is going to have a talk on Dash and its unique features like instant payment, private send and also its DAO system. We also held a Dash meeting.
As a following program, we plan to have a regular meetup plan, which is welcomed for everyone and is held every month, both in Tehran and Isfahan (our target city for merchants).

Manager: Mahdi Darabi
Executors: Mahyar Daneshpajouh (lecturer atIBSS), Mahdi Darabi (Tehran events), MohammadReza AhmadiPour (Isfahan events)
Costs: 120,000,000 Rials (for 4 meetups)

6- Social Media

We aim to use our Telegram, Apparat and Youtube channels and also twitter and Instagram pages for educating Persians about cryptocurrencies and Dash through content creation. They will be used for event announcements as well. We hope all Persian speakers will find these contents useful and informative.
We plan to post in these media regularly, about four posts and one video every two weeks.

Manager: Zeynab Khani
Executors: Mahyar Daneshpajuh (for technical videos), a professional content creator (for social media)
Costs: 100,000,000 Rials (for videos) + 80,000,000 Rials (for content creation)

7- Website
We already developed a plain website for Dash Iran and want to improve it in this round. Our blog will be a great source for Persians to get new updates since we plan to translate dash.org blogs. Beside using discoverdash.com for listing Iranian merchants, a new page is going to be added to our website, which works basically like dicoverdash.com, but is in Persian.

Manager: Seyed Sina Hashemi
Executors: Seyed Sina Hashemi (Front-end developer), a professional graphic designer (for logos, posters, etc.)
Costs: 30,000,000 Rials

8- Summery

a) what are the main products consumers use in Iran for inflation hedges?
b) how does Dash compete with those products ^?
c) would consumers in Iran use Dash as an inflation hedge? or is Dash too volatile for them?

In addition to our deliveries in our proposal, we have offered a 20 percent discount for foreign tourists if they pay their costs in Dash. Foreign tourists can get more information from this discount on Hammid Reza’s website. Hamid Reza is the PR manager of our team and the local tour leader in Varzaneh.

We announced in our proposal that we would popularize Dash in the Isfahan province. Our focus was on Varzaneh in the first month, since many foreign tourists travel to Varzaneh yearly, especially in this time of the year. we succeeded to familiarize 18 merchants in Varzaneh to Dash. These merchants are mostly the owners of restaurants, traditional residences, and local tour leaders. We introduced Dash and its functionalities to the merchants, installed a wallet for them, (gave them some Dash for the reward and introduced them Iranian exchanges) Now we can claim that the tourists can easily pay their costs to these merchants in Dash.
The list of these merchants is available on our website.

I am very happy to announce that from now on Iranians can change Dash to Rials and vice versa easily. This month we focused on the Iranian exchanges and merchants in the Isfahan Province. Wallex, Ok-Exchange, and BidArz accept Dash at the moment. Previously, as we said before, Abantether added Dash to its list. Therefore, Iranians can exchange Dash using the websites below:

As I mentioned before, we wanted to have a lecture about Dash in IBSS (Iran Blockchain Summer School). In previous posts, I had explained about IBSS. Yesterday, Mr. Mahyar Daneshpajouh had a one-hour presentation on the Dash. After the presentation, we ask some questions about Dash and gave 0.3 Dash to three people for the reward. You can see this Lecture and some pictures on the Dash Iran website.

As the first step in Varzaneh, HamidReza, PR manager of Dash Iran, negotiated with traditional residences and now they all use Dash. The next step is to convince local tour leaders in Varzaneh to inform tourists that they can use Dash to pay their expenses and will also provide the API defined thoroughly in our proposal for merchants to make the process more comfortable for both the tourists and them. For this purpose, Hamid Reza negotiated with Mr. Ali Bagheri, a tour leader in Varzaneh, to make him familiar with Dash. He installed Dash wallet, Hamid Reza gave him 0.01 Dash as his first Dash and now he is willing to make tourists familiar with Dash.
All the activities that are done so far by our team have become possible with the donation we got in the previous cycle.
If we get enough votes in this cycle, we will continue promoting Dash with the purpose to make it the most used cryptocurrency in the Isfahan province, which is a very attractive tourist destination, starting from Varzaneh in Isfahan. We strongly think that this could be a good start point to the introduction of Dash to its mass adaption for all over Iran. As we said before, we'll negotiate with Iranian exchanges at the same time to enable the changes of Dash to Rial and vice versa.
In this video, Mr. Ali Bagheri introduced himself. We will add the English subtitle to it for the next few hours.

Getting Dash/Rial trading pairs is the top priority in my opinion. Making Dash easy to acquire is the first most basic hurdle. Merchants are mainly a novel interest for dire Dash enthusiasts at this stage IMHO. Please focus on the exchanges! Voting YES.

I appreciate your valuable idea about our proposal.
So far we have negotiated with AbanTether. Once we get enough votes in this period, we'll continue our negotiations with the rest of the exchanges.

Hi everyone!

I am very happy to describe our most important job in the Dash Iran's new proposal.
In this proposal, we want to convince tourists and merchants to use Dash in their transactions.
We decided to start this work in two parts of Iran: Varzaneh in the Isfahan province and the Mazandaran province.
Hamid Reza AllahDadi, a local tour leader who has about 2 and a half years of experience in tour leading foreign tourists in the Isfahan province, who is also very passionate about cryptocurrencies, joined Dash Iran and is going to help us in the future. He already started negotiating with some hostels in Varzaneh in the Isfahan province to accept Dash from tourists.

I want to explain more about one of our jobs in the proposal.
IBSS(Iran Blockchain Summer School) is the first summer school for the blockchain in Iran. It is being held in partnership with the Sharif Blockchain Laboratory and Aryahamrah Samaneh Co. with the accelerator arm of Sharif University of Technology (SATAK). Almost all blockchain communities in Iran are attending in this summer school. It is a one-week event on learning and developing blockchain networks and business development on blockchain and cryptocurrencies. So this is a good opportunity for digital currency researchers and investors. We could convince the event’s organizers to allocate a complete session on Dash and they added the Dash Iran logo to their website. Mayhar Daneshpajouh, our technical manager will be the panelist of that session on Aug 26.

My vote for sure, good luck
