Summary

Our current proposal is about the strategic promotion and further adoption of Dash by millennials and entities utilizing payment solutions. We want to achieve this by promoting and presenting Dash and the upcoming Evolution project to entrepreneurs, investors, journalists and decision makers in various e-commerce and other relevant companies, building a gaming platform on top of Dash that will attract the general crypto community with peer-to-peer decentralized challenges, but offer special financial benefits to people using Dash, motivating others to use it within and outside our platform, and by working with reputable individuals, companies and organizations that can help us secure meetings, overcome the barriers, establish partnerships and introduce people to Dash and its benefits. Moreover, we will be exploring ways in which we can make it easier for the general public to buy and use Dash and working with a marketing agency to efficiently deliver our message to 500,000 - 800,000 people in the following 3-6 months. Given the scope of the project, funds will be managed by Dash Core team and payments will be made based on delivered milestones. My partner for this endeavor will be Vedad Mešanović, co-founder of GliaLab (AI company supported by NVIDIA and Google) and a board member at two international companies in the field of branding and mCommerce.

Who are you?

Nebojša Jović, Chapter Director at Startup Grind, Ambassador at  the Central European Startup Awards and Founder at Binfluence. I am also an active Dash community member and consider myself to be a Country Manager for Serbia at Dash. Thanks to your support, those who have been following my past proposals and updates know that Dash had a successful year in Serbia. Who will be involved in the project and is there an escrow service?

Included parties: Dash Core team, GliaLab, Green Candle Inc., Pogon (EU innovation company) and others
Managing funds: Escrow by Dash Core team (payments based on delivered milestones over the period of 3-6 months). We are using a wallet address provided by Dash Core team so funds from this proposal will be directly deposited to their escrow wallet as agreed with Bradley Zastrow.

How will you spend the requested funds?

1) Two events (collaboration with Petnica Science Center and the Rotary Club). Rotary Club is bringing together business and professional leaders around the world and in Serbia many of them include executives from eCommerce and other companies utilizing payment solutions, hence this is a great opportunity to build a relationship with them, introduce them to Dash and explore partnerships for the upcoming Evolution project. We will be hiring Vladimir Ðukelic, a Serbian movie director, who directed over 65 Commercials for domestic and international markets for clients such as Mastercard, Gillette, Bambi, T-Mobile and T-Com, Telenor, BH Telekom etc. to record the event.
2) Development of Challengly gaming platform, growing Dash community within and outside the gaming industry through exclusive Dash challenges and tournaments, and creation of stable revenue stream for Dash-related activities. Our goal is to capture a large user base of players playing with different cryptocurrencies and actively offer them tournaments and lower fees available only to players using Dash.
3) Dedicated Dash page with promotion to over 500,000-800,000 people online over the course of three to six months (what is Dash, how to use it, what are the benefits etc.). Additional promotion will be created via social media, published articles and project partners. We will be hiring Homepage Marketing Agency to work with us on the promotion. They are a marketing agency working with clients like Coca-Cola and Nike, and they are accepting Dash as a payment method.
4) Promotional activities through online communities and Startup Grind platform and events, the largest independent startup community, actively educating, inspiring, and connecting 1,000,000 entrepreneurs in over 250 cities. 
5) Sponsorship of Startup Grind Belgrade Chapter for three months. Our guests include successful entrepreneurs and VC investors from companies and investment funds like GoDaddy and Speedinvest.
6) Meetings with companies and startups looking to use Dash as a payment solution within their platform or integrate it within their operations (we should not be spending any funds on these activities unless we need to prepare some materials or a specific presentation, but these costs will be minimal).

What will Dash get for funding the development of Challengly platform?

• “Powered by Dash” sign next to our logo on Challengly gaming platform once it is launched and all our future promo materials and articles. 
• In order to grow the Dash user base, users will be able to play challenges at our platform with multiple cryptocurrencies, which will also create a stable income for growth of our platform, but we will organize exclusive tournaments and challenges available only to users playing with Dash, motivating people to actively purchase and trade Dash within and outside the platform. In the future, once we have a stable user base and resources, we can think about focusing all challenges exclusively on Dash.
• 20% of our income will be invested in the growth of our platform, development of new challenges and marketing, thus also promoting Dash and growing its community.
  
• As agreed with Dash Core and other parties, 40% of all our future profits from Challengly platform, money that will be invested in projects related to the development of Dash. Each month we will submit a report with results. Funding will be allocated to the following four activities:
  

 

1. 10% will be used for improving Green Candle Inc. escrow service and their new Grant Center - micro proposals or micro-donations via either DashBoost or DashDirect (activities will be coordinated and managed directly with Jeff Smith a.k.a. coingun). 
   
2. 10% will be used for creating a community bucket. Each month we will submit a report and leverage the community for suggestions on how to best use the funds to support Dash. This may include such ideas as providing additional funds to Dash Core team for development opportunities, organizing free Dash tournaments that users can play for free and win Dash, supporting specific projects so they can request less funding from Dash treasury (a short-term funding model that also helps with inflation) etc.
   
3. 10% will be used for organizing promotional events for Dash and marketing activities.
   
4. 10% will be used to form a Dash Sponsorship Team that will be sponsoring different respectable individuals like athletes. For example, we can be supporting teams from developing countries without sponsors by sending them to mainstream sporting competitions or a team of young mathematicians traveling to a major academic competition.

What is a Challengly platform and how does it work?

Thinking about how we can disrupt the future of decentralized competitions, create value for Dash and establish a revenue stream funding these Dash-related activities, my colleague, Vedad Mešanović, and I spent a few weeks doing research and talking to different people and came up with a list of impact points and a concept for a blockchain platform which will be the first peer-to-peer, real-time, fast-paced competition platform built on blockchain. While competitors exist in a single vertical within our offering, there is no provider with similar possibilities based on transparent and fair decentralized flash games in the field of the blockchain. 

What we came up with is a very simple decentralized flash gaming platform allowing users to select a game, challenge each other and instantly double or lose their crypto stake. This way, the outcome of each game is based on decisions that users make. In order to refine the concept, we consulted with different outside parties and Dash community members, conducted a research on startups and gaming psychology, current “betting” trends etc. As we grow, the platform will include different skill-based filters, challenges, ranks, custom options, tournaments etc. Let us introduce you to our gaming concept with one of the challenges used as an example:

Who will develop Challengly?

For the development of the platform, we have selected Pogon, a European innovation company developing digital products and MVPs for startups and companies entering the enterprise space. Their founder is Marko Kažić, our colleague, founder of Zamphyr, and Stanford HCI graduate with development experience coming from companies like IDF and Microsoft. We have also discussed this idea with Alex Werner, Evolution Backend Lead at Dash, thus we are considering opportunities of building our platform on top of Dash infrastructure.

We briefly talked with Ryan and shared our plan with Bradley Zastrow. We had two calls, discussed a few valid points in regards to our execution and business model, and agreed to sign an escrow agreement with the core team. 
 
Who is Vedad?
 
Vedad is my partner on this project and he has significant and diverse industry experience working with local and international organizations and working for companies and startups as an advisor, sales and marketing representative and business development officer in different industries. He is the co-founder and Chief Operating Officer at GliaLab, artificial intelligence company developing data-driven technology solutions for the healthcare industry, featured in major media around the world and supported by entities like NVIDIA. Vedad is also the member of CSR+, a pioneer center for corporate social responsibility in South East Europe and the Ambassador at the Central European Startup Awards. He sits on the advisory board of Writinado, writing services and consulting company in Bosnia and Herzegovina serving a huge variety of small and medium-sized businesses, as well as enterprises and online influencers around the world, consults multiple companies in diverse industries, and serves as a personal advisor to Zeeshan N. Ahmed, founder of Benchmark Pakistan and Grow Online, a group of technology and advertising companies.
