Proposal description

Addressing the History: Jeff Berwick & the Anarchapulco Community
Following feedback from the MNO channel, we want to address this directly.
We are aware that Jeff Berwick and parts of the Anarchapulco / libertarian crowd turned against Dash years ago, largely over the perceived privacy limitations of CoinJoin (PrivateSend) at the time. Some of that skepticism likely still exists in these circles.
We see this as an opportunity, not a barrier. Dash today is not the Dash of 2017. With Platform v4.0 and top-level ZK privacy now part of the stack, we have a genuinely new story to tell, and Liberland’s audience is exactly the community that cares about this topic most. Unlike some competitors, Dash’s privacy implementation has never been exploited.
Re-introducing modern Dash to the libertarian and free-market community, on their home ground, at their flagship event, is precisely the kind of narrative repair this proposal is designed to deliver. Skeptics don’t change their minds through Twitter threads. They change their minds through conversations, demos, and presence.

Dash x Liberland 2026: Vendor Sponsorship and Payment Activation
Liberpulco Partnerships

Summary
Dash is proposing to join Liberpulco 2026 as a Vendor tier sponsor, using the vendor table as a live payment activation where attendees can test real Dash transactions firsthand. This gives Dash visibility in front of the Liberland and Anarchapulco crowd, both audiences that already value sovereignty, censorship resistance, and DAO governed systems, making them a natural fit for Dash’s positioning.

What we get
Vendor table at the Main Event, used for the Dash payment activation.
Website logo featured at varying times on the Main Stage during the event and in the event replay, and remaining on the Partners page indefinitely.
2 Liberpulco 2026 virtual tickets.
1 general admission ticket.

The activation
Free beer for attendees, paid for in Dash at the vendor table, so people experience a real Dash payment instead of just hearing a pitch about it. Zano wallet will also be present at the event, so this is a chance for Dash to stand out as the payment rail people actually use on the ground.

Representative
Dash sends a representative to attend, run the activation, and speak with attendees and other sponsors onsite.

Budget
Vendor sponsorship: $1000
Beer and activation costs: $500
Representative trip (flights, accommodation): $1500
Contributor reward: $500

Team
Activation and onsite representation led by Ekin Odacıoğlu.

Why This Matters
Liberpulco is the flagship event for Liberland, a self declared free society built around individual sovereignty, minimal government, and blockchain based governance. It brings together a community that already thinks in DAO terms: voluntary association, decentralized decision making, opt out of traditional financial systems. That overlap with Dash’s own DAO structure makes this audience unusually primed to understand and adopt Dash without a long education curve.

About the event
Attendees: 500+
Reach (social, livestream, replay views): 100,000+ combined reach across social media
Notable past speakers and community ties: Liberland President Vit Jedlicka, Anarchapulco founder Jeff Berwick, HIRH Sandor Habsburg-Lothringen, UN Correspondents Association Vienna President Abdullah Sharief, former EU Commissioner John Dali, and former Croatian MP Ivan Pernar. Also present: Liberland's Minister of Justice Michal Ptáčník

What comes next: Dash Embassy in Liberland
This sponsorship is the first step, not the whole plan. The longer term goal is a standing Dash embassy in Liberland, following the same hub model already running in Turkey, Nigeria, and Malaysia: sponsor funded, run by an autonomous local representative, not a DAO funded office. Liberland is a jurisdiction built on the idea of a voluntary, stateless society, which makes it a strong symbolic and practical home base for positioning Dash as real, everyday payment infrastructure rather than just another speculative asset. A visible presence at Liberpulco is the natural entry point toward that.

Bonus Initiative: A Symbol for Liberty
Every big idea in human history has a symbol people instantly recognize: love has the heart, infinity has its own sign, peace has its symbol, victory has the two finger sign. Liberty has no symbol like that. Nothing anyone can draw, tattoo, or turn into an emoji.
As part of Liberpulco, Dash and Liberland should launch a global online contest for artists to design the symbol for Liberty itself, something as simple and universal as the peace sign, but standing for freedom. Call it “Powered by Liberland and Dash.” Open to artists worldwide, judged by the community, the winning symbol adopted as the shared visual mark for the freedom movement going forward.
This is bigger than a marketing activation. It’s a chance for Dash and Liberland to be remembered as the ones who gave Liberty its symbol.

Originally named "Darkcoin", the first major privacy-cryptocurrency, Dash the community and currency is and has ALWAYS been steadfastly true to the idea of self-sovereign individual privacy and liberty with sound money. In the past (around 2018), we never actually nerfed or downgraded Dash's PrivateSend coinjoin mixing, but when we tried to publicly downplay it to appease regulators, unfortunately, the Jeff Berwick Anarchapulco crowd saw that and strongly rejected Dash because they perceived/assumed Dash as lacking strong-enough privacy compared to other coins.
The actual Dash community definitely never succumbed or compromised on our privacy principles. All of us felt very frustrated and sad that false perception caused us to unduly lose favor with the Libertarian/Anarchist community.
Now we have a new way to demonstrate what we always have been all about, with top-quality ZK privacy AND top-quality usability as self-custody private sound money. We have it all! This is what liberty-cryptocurrency is supposed to be, and Dash is THE best-designed cryptocurrency for real adoption.
I really think it would behoove Dash to regain the support and excitement of the Anarcho-capitalist community now that we are ready to convincingly show Dash as self-custody privacy-money for mass-adoption. We're still here, unwavering and pushing to make this happen.
I am voting yes for this.

The audience at this conference is exactly our target audience - our potential users and investors. It's also a community that strongly values freedom, which aligns closely with Dash's mission.

This would be a great opportunity for attendees to try our payment solution firsthand and learn more about Dash Platform.

We'd really appreciate it if you could reconsider your decision.
