Proposal description

We suggest creating a Dash booth at the Blockchain Life forum, where we'll showcase the capabilities of the Dash Platform, desktop, and mobile Dash wallets. We'll also discuss the token functionality on the Dash platform and the Dash extension for Google Chrome (developed by Pshenmic).

Booth Specifications
1,5х1,5 m booth; 2,5 m height
Booth wall will be blue, logos and text will be white (Brand Guidelines will be used: https://www.dash.org/brand-guidelines/). QR codes for Discord and Telegram channels and groups will be located on the walls.

Merchandise
There will be 2,000 brochures describing Dash and its capabilities. Pens with the Dash logo will be available.

Representers
Two tech-savvy Dash representatives will be at the booth, who have kindly agreed to represent Dash interests as volunteers.

Venue, forum format, audience characteristics
The forum takes place in Dubai, October 28-29, at the Festival Arena and gathers 15,000 attendees from 130 countries, 200+ booths, 200+ speakers.

The key audience of the forum is investors, traders and developers.

Speakers at the forum include:

Reeve Collins — Co-Founder of Tether
Frederik Gregaard — CEO of the Cardano Foundation
Justin Sun — CEO of TRON
Kostas Chalkias — Co-Founder of Mysten Labs
and hundreds of other speakers.

What are our goals?
To educate users about Dash wallets and their features, and to help install over 300 mobile wallets.
To attract developers to the Dash Platform.
To attract over 300 people to our Telegram and Discord groups.
To show users the ability to create an identity and username through the Dash Pay app on Android. Over 100 users.
Our main goal is image-building, to demonstrate that the project is developing successfully.

Who are we?
We are the organizers of Blockchain Life, Evangelists, and members of the Dash community.

You can verify that we are not scammers or impostors by writing to our official email: sponsors@blockchain-life.com

Expenses
Booth rental and decoration: $8,500
The booth will be located in the startup zone, but without the “startup” label.
The cost is $8,500, as these booths are officially reserved for startups. It took quite some effort to get approval for your placement there, on the condition that the booth design is fully customized.
We coordinated directly with the builder to make it possible to extend the construction.

Merchandise (pens, booklets, keychains): $500
The work includes:
 • Booth attendant duties
 • One additional entry pass, since besides the booth attendant there will also be Alexey, and the booth package includes only one free ticket
 • Merch and branded clothing for team members representing Dash at the booth and around the conference
 • Daily expenses, covering transportation (taxi), meals, and accommodation
• Design work — visuals and layout for the booth, cover materials, and event branding

Total: $9000
We are requesting 245 + 1 Dash.

The remaining funds (at the current exchange rate) have been agreed to be donated by the dash community (masternode holders).
Volunteer travel and accommodations are also covered by donations from masternode owners.

What is the "startup zone" and how is it different from the regular zone? Is it a cheaper area that is in a different location than other projects? It would be nice to see the event layout to know how far away Dash will be from the main crypto booths.

Yes, the Startup Zone is indeed a more affordable area. Of course, Blockchain Life doesn’t see Dash as a startup — it’s an established organization that has been active since 2017.

Right now, regular booths for established companies cost around $16,000, while startup booths cost $5,000. However, after several rounds of negotiation, the organizers agreed to give us a Startup Zone booth for $8,000 — a special exception considering Dash’s reputation and community strength.

This zone gathers Web3 enthusiasts, builders, and investors who care about innovation and the future of blockchain. It’s a perfect space to engage with people who are truly passionate — without competing for attention with big corporate players.

And this atmosphere fully reflects Dash’s spirit: innovation, community, and financial freedom

P.S. The payment for the booth needs to be made now, since conference organizers never accept payments after the event cycle. The conference takes place at the end of this month, so timing is critical.

I assume this budget proposal is for the next budget cycle, not this current budget cycle that ends later today. So i will take a look later. If this budget happens to be for this current cycle then it is very very late. Too late for me to consider voting on it.

Yes, we completely understand that the proposal comes very late. We’re trying to find a way to cover part of the cost ourselves, even though it’s a significant amount — since this is a booth payment, not just a travel expense.

Of course, the conference organizers require upfront payment for the booth and setup, so timing is tight.

In any case, we’d be very grateful if you could still take a look at the proposal and consider supporting it

Hi Daria, have you gotten ideas and collaboration with the existing BizDev team led by Joel? I think you both could coordinate well regarding speaking points and marketing materials. Thoughts?

Yes, I’m in touch with Joel and other active community members and developers. As someone relatively new to the Dash ecosystem, it’s important for me to understand our growth and BD strategy, so I’m aligning with different people.

I’m not part of Joel’s team, and I don’t believe centralizing everything in one place is healthy. Dash is a decentralized community — the more independent units we have, the stronger we are.

We also cover different regions: Joel is in the Americas, while I’m between Thailand and Dubai — this naturally makes outreach more global and diverse. I keep Joel informed, but the initiatives come from me, and I also receive many offers from Web3 media, events, and communities. I evaluate them carefully, help them learn about Dash, and encourage them to create their own proposals, so we have more parallel growth.

P.S. Marketing works best through coordination, not competition. When we share targets and contacts, we reach further — none of us knows who will meet the right people first. And it’s great that we can support each other online — likes, comments, and reposts really boost visibility.
Huge thanks to Dash Italy — they’re one of the most supportive teams in the ecosystem

I don't think that's a good idea at all. You shouldn't be trying to "run all bizdev proposals by Joel". Its clear that Joel and you are working together to limit the effectiveness of the spread of Dash Bizdev proposals and the spread of Dash in general (Joel hogged DashBoost funds to prevent smaller proposals from around the world from getting paid, despite having a 300 Dash proposal active at the time himself, and you are perfectly fine with that, indicating you're in league with him).

This is very late. I could search for a lot of things myself, but I don't think I have enough time today. Could you at least post a link to that Blockchain Life forum? And more about your own background?

You write "we'll showcase the capabilities of the Dash Platform, desktop, and mobile Dash wallets. We'll also discuss the token functionality on the Dash platform and the Dash extension for Google Chrome". How are you going to do that, esp. for Platform? What's the USP, the main benefit you're going to promote to make people go "Wow, I need that!"? Do you have Platform demo apps that are intuitive to understand for someone who doesn't know anything about Dash or Platform? How are they going to be showcased? In 1:1 chats? In demos for a bigger crowd? But I don't see anything about AV equipment, so I guess it's gonna be you sitting there with your private laptop?

Wait, under Who are we? It says "We are the organizers of Blockchain Life", so are you basically just trying to fill your own event?

1. This proposal was prepared with the help of the Blockchain Life organizers — big thanks to them for their support. It was officially submitted by Dasha and Yarik (Ravenor). Dasha has also submitted previous proposals for Token2049 and GITEX. One of the Masternode owners also plans to attend the conference personally to support us at the booth and help with communication during the event.

2. Here’s the forum link: https://blockchain-life.com (https://blockchain-life.com/)
It’s a well-known, long-running event that is heavily promoted across Web3 media. The organizers have offered to include Dash not only with a booth but also in website features, social media posts, and newsletter campaigns. As part of the deal, we’ll also participate as a partner and sponsor.

3. As for demonstrating Dash’s functionality — yes, we’ll have a laptop or tablet for live demos. I’ve participated in and presented at many conferences before, with extensive experience showcasing innovative projects and test environments.

I’m already in contact with the Dash Core Dev Team. I’ll coordinate demo mechanics for both existing features and upcoming developments.

In addition, we’ll be onboarding new users by helping them create real Dash wallets on-site. We are currently working on a small reward system — likely a raffle or giveaway — to make onboarding more engaging
