Proposal description
Dash Representation at Thailand Blockchain Week 2025
1. Introduction
I believe it’s crucial for Dash to actively participate in local blockchain conferences, and here’s why:
For these reasons, I see this initiative as an important next step in bringing Dash deeper into Asia.
Travel and accommodation expenses are minimal compared to flying in participants from other regions, allowing us to represent Dash in Asia with a much smaller budget while achieving strong local visibility.
2. My Role at the Conference
At the conference, I personally represent Dash by engaging with key ecosystem players — exchanges, wallets, and Web3 companies — to explore integration opportunities for Dash as a token and payment method.
I visit every relevant booth and speak directly with organizers and developers. I explain what Dash is, highlight its unique features (fast, private, decentralized payments), and share information about Dash Platform, Dash Evolution, and our current stage of development (smart contracts are not yet live).
All information I share comes from official Dash sources — X (Twitter), the Dash Discord, and articles by core contributors like Joel. If I get technical questions, I consult with community experts before answering.
I also network with marketing teams, creators, and builders interested in contributing to Dash. I explain how our proposal system works — that contributors first create value for the ecosystem, and then can submit a proposal for funding.
Many people I meet already know Dash — but most remember it from around 2020 and are surprised to learn the project is active, evolving, and growing again (especially after seeing the recent price movement).
These conversations help revive awareness and trust in Dash within the Web3 and builder communities.
3. Social Media and Post-Conference Impact
While attending the conference, I actively manage my personal social media accounts and collaborate with Dash’s social channels — sharing real, human-centered content that shows Dash’s presence and activity in the global Web3 ecosystem.
Unlike AI-generated visuals or generic promo posts, this approach builds authentic trust in the project, attracts new community members, and reassures our existing supporters that Dash is alive, visible, and growing.
I will provide a detailed report of all activities after the conference.
At the moment, it’s challenging to finalize documentation while I’m on-site — I’m handling dozens of conversations daily, maintaining relationships, and following up with potential partners and contributors.
This work goes far beyond a simple conference visit — it’s full-scale business development and marketing execution on behalf of the Dash community.

Haven’t used Reddit for a while, but I’m getting back to it now. The views are still small, but I’ve got plenty of community experience working with Reddit — we’ll grow it step by step.
Additionally, I received a request to assist the Pshenmic DEV team with DevRel (Developer Relations) — helping attract new developers, promote their progress, and share updates about their work through Dash social media and community channels.
Since they are focused purely on development and don’t have marketing or DevRel specialists, I’ve already started supporting them — you can see this activity in my recent posts.
Going forward, I plan to help other contributors in the Dash ecosystem in the same way. For example, new initiatives like Dish To Dash are emerging — they build cool things but often lack marketing and visibility, and that’s where my experience can really help.
Since I’m submitting this proposal during the conference, I can already share some concrete outcomes.
I met with Bitkub, the largest and most influential exchange in Thailand — essentially the country’s main crypto trading platform. They expressed interest in discussing a potential Dash listing.
I also met representatives from Bitcoin.com, and we agreed to continue discussions about listing Dash on their platform.
Additionally, I connected with the team from grvt.io, a rapidly growing decentralized derivatives exchange, to explore collaboration opportunities and ways to integrate Dash into their ecosystem.
These meetings represent an important step toward expanding Dash’s visibility and partnerships across the Asian market.
I also created DASha Samurai, a symbolic hero representing my journey and Dash’s path in the Web3 world — a storytelling figure that helps the community connect emotionally with the ecosystem’s evolution and values.
What I need?
- Tickets (transport): $150
- Accommodation: $400
- Other expenses: $250 (taxi, food)
- Personal care & beauty: $200
Total: 1000$
~13 dash

Ongoing Community and Ecosystem Engagement
Due to my active presence on social media and regular participation in Dash-related discussions, I’m constantly approached by founders, marketers, and partners interested in the project.
This has grown into a continuous, part-time responsibility — not just post-conference work. I spend time guiding new contributors into the Dash ecosystem, explaining how proposals work, how to contribute, and what’s happening within the community.
Since I’m practically the only publicly visible and active person in the community besides Joel — with open social media profiles and a real face behind the name — people started reaching out to me directly about buying masternodes, purchasing tokens, and solving wallet-related issues. I handle these requests, route them to the right people, and provide support where possible.
Additionally, I manage DevRel and BizDev communications through social media — posting updates, answering inquiries, and maintaining Dash visibility across multiple ecosystems.
I don’t do this alone — Yaroslav (it’s me :) ) assists me in managing this high communication flow. He helps set up chats, maintain our communication database, remind me of key follow-ups, and assist with proposal preparation and reporting.
Together, we operate as a small coordination team supporting community relations, education, and ecosystem growth.

1. Introduction
I believe it’s crucial for Dash to actively participate in local blockchain conferences, and here’s why:
- Current marketing efforts for Dash are mostly focused on the Western hemisphere.
Most active regional groups are in the US and Europe — while in Asia, both on Telegram and X, there’s much less Dash community presence.
- Asia is a growing region. Major ecosystems like Solana, XRP, ICP, and others are consistently represented here. Dash deserves the same visibility.
- Local events are as valuable as global ones.
For these reasons, I see this initiative as an important next step in bringing Dash deeper into Asia.
- Economic efficiency

It’s inspiring to see how positively people in the crypto space react to Dash — many experienced builders are excited to see it evolving again. Looks like we’re here to stay
And yes, we’ll try to submit proposals a bit earlier next time!
