Proposal description
Regards Dash Community!
We started the year expanding our support and knowledge services to Margarita Island, Nueva Esparta State (Venezuela), where, together with Dash Core Group representatives on the island, we made the first Dash Crypto Tour a reality.
This involved the following activities:2 radio station interviews, 1 training in the Hotel Margarita Village, 4 new businesses now accepting Dash as a form of payment, 1 Bingo and the Chamber of Commerce were the other locations for inductions conducted by our team.
We started a new pilot test with the physical Dash cards on Margarita Island.
More than 50 people lived the experience of paying with Dash with NFC cards at a physical point of sale that will continue to operate in the stores. With this activity we managed to break down part of the resistance it still exists against the cryptos, make the process of transition to digital money lighter and attract the attention of the elderly, who will then be able to use Dash from their wallets as well as receiving them as a remittance.
We celebrated Dash's 8th anniversary, and we were able to make Dash birthday #1 trending on twitter in Venezuela all day long.
We also made a cash-back on Dash purchases via our WhatsApp to increase Dash purchases and encourage its use in the country.
On this date alone, we put a total of in the hands of Venezuelans!

Thank you very much for your comment.
As you may know, we still have in our possession some DashRetail (now CTX) devices and debit cards.
Due to some obstacles related to the SUNACRIP (Venezuelan regulatory authority for cryptocurrencies activities) and some updates that the CTX team have carried out in the system, we have not massively marketed these devices so far, beyond a couple of trusted shops that have been accepting dash for a long time, and only as part of this highly monitored pilot test.
In this occasion, on the Isla de Margarita, Venezuela, (an excellent touristic destination with a potentially higher purchasing power) we carried out a new pilot test, using the new CTX system whose link to the proposal I'll leave here (https://www.dashcentral.org/p/CTX-Q2-2022).
Our main focus was:
1. Test the system by carrying out a large number of transactions.
2. Test people's receptivity as a starting point and transition, to bring the user closer to use the dash wallet.
3. Know feasibility of implementing the CTX points of sale we have.
4. Evaluate the creation of a loyalty system in which we use the physical card as a sort of membership, which through its use would allow the customers to earn rewards.
5. Encourage the generation of Dash recurring customers.
