Proposal description

Executive Summary
During the reporting period, the main focus for Dash was the continued expansion of its presence across the APAC and beyond region through on-the-ground activations, hub development, and partnership growth, supported by a strong business development pipeline.
A key pillar of progress was the rollout and scaling of regional hubs across Thailand, Nigeria, Turkey, and Malaysia. New community leaders were onboarded, first community calls and local activations were conducted, and initial governance structures were established. While the model is still maturing, it is already demonstrating a shift toward a more distributed and locally driven ecosystem, though some hubs (notably Thailand) have begun operating more independently.
Event-driven growth remains central to the strategy. Dash maintained an active presence across major regional conferences and ecosystem events, including SEABW, Vietnam Web3 Builders Week, and multiple side events and community activations. The project participated as a partner, speaker, and co-organizer, strengthening visibility among builders, exchanges, and regulatory stakeholders across Southeast Asia.In parallel, significant progress was made on ambassador tooling and infrastructure. A prototype system is being developed to track real-world event participation and post-event user engagement beyond wallet downloads. This system is designed not only for Dash but also as a shared infrastructure layer for ecosystem projects, improving long-term attribution and user lifecycle tracking.
Business development efforts continue to show strong conversion from offline relationships into active partnerships and integrations, including Exolix, LetsExchange, Dexsport, and Xgram. The pipeline is expanding with new contacts from major industry players such as MEXC, Bitget Wallet, and CoinDesk, with ongoing follow-ups actively managed.
Content, DevRel, and media visibility also remain active. A Russian-language content series and Dash.ru Talks continue to support technical and community engagement. In addition, 5 video interviews were conducted during the period - 3 with media outlets and 2 with promising emerging Web3 bloggers. These publications are currently in production and will be listed and linked in full once released below.
These efforts are further reinforced by grassroots activations such as Pizza DAO Days, university collaborations, and local meetups, which continue to strengthen community-level engagement across the region.
Overall, the APAC and beyond strategy is converging on three core pillars:
Physical presence (events, conferences, and hubs)
Infrastructure (ambassador tooling and onboarding systems)
Conversion (business development and partnerships).
Together with increasing media visibility and creator collaborations, these elements are building a scalable, repeatable model for regional expansion and ecosystem growth for Dash across APAC and beyond.

PART 1: Report - Past Activities
DevRel
We created a research piece from Maxim covering how developer certification is structured across other blockchain ecosystems, including gamification mechanics used in the certification process. This serves as the foundation for our upcoming Dash Platform certification and onboarding framework.
https://www.notion.so/Progress-Report-May-2026-3732548acd5980e59476faf90060d6cd?source=copy_link
Through onboarding new hub members, we quickly discovered that explaining Dash to someone with no prior ecosystem experience is harder than it sounds. Terminology, architecture, governance - it’s a lot to absorb at once for the average user or developer coming in fresh. This led us to a new initiative: a bot that walks newcomers through the Dash ecosystem, asks questions to check understanding, and gently corrects mistakes along the way. The goal is to make this the zero step for anyone entering Dash before contribution, before deep dive, before anything else.
Following Max's report, we are assembling a working group - Mikhail, Brian, Ermakow, and Thephez (who handles documentation), plus potentially Sam - to decide how to build our gamified certification.

Dash.ru Talks (Russian-Language Content Series)

We are continuing our Russian-language content series with Mikhail Pshennik. Episode 5 is planned - it will feature product updates from Mikhail's team, with a technical guest invited to ask the right deep-dive questions and keep the discussion sharp.

Dash Startup School
Is an 8-week online program for first-time tech founders - university students and recent graduates building on Dash Platform. Weekly byte-sized lectures, P2P buddy pairs, startup diaries with expert feedback, and a tracker bot to keep teams moving. First cohort: up to 20 participants, Asia time zone, July launch. Led by Dasha Chernozub (accelerator mentor/tracker), Maxim (DevRel & university outreach), and Yarik & Voncan (community). Students are recruited through universities, Dash channels, and SEA startup communities. Free to participate.
Goal: turn hackathon prototypes into real startups - and grow the pipeline of committed builders on Dash Platform.

Ambassador Program Tooling
We are building a tool for Phase 1: physical events. With growing hub activity across the region and frequent Dash giveaways at events, we need a way to track new ecosystem participants beyond wallet downloads - capturing their next steps and continued activity within Dash. The tool will also be available for other projects building within the Dash ecosystem, making it a shared infrastructure layer. A prototype is ready.

Global Adoption Program

Thailand Hub
The Thailand Hub was launched following the full onboarding process - training completed, integrated into all relevant channels, and the hub leader was invited to events where I had speaking or attendance slots, including a joint appearance at Blockchain Week. All Thailand links and resources: https://linktr.ee/dashthailand
We also ran a Dash mascot contest together. https://x.com/DariaChernozub/status/2051963305347223842 The contest involved a university visit where we sourced student participants together. (Sripatum University, Thailand)
A winner was selected and a mascot now exists for the ecosystem. This is a prototype of the mascot - we will continue developing it further with our designer so that it can be used by everyone. https://x.com/DashThailandOFC/status/2062223368485732792

That said, the Thailand Hub has since decided to operate independently and outside the model we are proposed. I respect that as their right within the DAO structure. Going forward, updates from the Thailand Hub will come directly from them.
One critical point: the key legal registration steps for Dash Thailand have not been completed by them. Without proper legalization, listing on Thai exchanges such as Bitkub  remains off the table or legally problematic. This is a prerequisite for any legitimate exchange listing in Thailand. I am continuing this work myself. Negotiations are ongoing with BitTaza and Bitkub, and I have identified additional contacts who assist other Layer 1 projects with Thailand market legalization - through other local contacts who are focused specifically on this regulatory work.

Nigeria Hub
A Nigeria Hub has been established. The hub lead has conducted the first community call, is actively onboarding new members, and has gone through full Dash orientation and training. Early signs are positive.

Turkey Hub
A Turkey Hub representative attended Istanbul Blockchain Week in Dash merch, made connections with local Web3 players, and participated in side events.
https://t.me/dash_haberleri

Malaysia Hub
We now have representation in Malaysia through Max - who is also part of our DevRel workstream. He has already attended a Pizza DAO event locally and will be joining me at Malaysian Blockchain Week as our on-the-ground representative. Beyond the conference, he will continue attending local meetups. Maxim wears two hats: DevRel (certification research) and regional hub representative for Malaysia. This kind of overlap is exactly the model we want to replicate - people embedded in the ecosystem and active across multiple fronts.

Also, we were invited to become Web3 Ultra partners completely free of charge https://linktr.ee/ultraweb3fest

A Korean Hub is currently in preparation, with onboarding and initial coordination underway. This will further expand Dash's regional presence in Asia alongside the existing hubs.

Hub Infrastructure
Twitter accounts and Telegram groups have been created for all active hubs. A big thanks to Voncan for setting these up and co-admining them alongside the hub leads. The network will expand, but the model requires careful vetting - hub leads must genuinely commit to the self-sustainability model outlined here: https://app.notion.com/p/Dash-Kin-Hub-Leader-Guide-3582548acd598099be2fc18d5c6bf0f9

On the Ground: Why Physical Presence Matters

Opening hubs doesn't happen remotely. It requires being present - meeting people, building trust, and showing up. We've been fortunate that our previous trip to Malaysia led directly to an invitation to speak at Malaysian Blockchain Week, which validates this approach. Being a community partner and having a speaking slot is a solid foundation.
But showing up with an activation - something people actually interact with and remember - is what converts conference attendance into real ecosystem growth. That's the standard we hold ourselves to. This is exactly what we're already doing in the Philippines, and Malaysia is next.

Malaysian Blockchain Week Partnership
https://myblockchainweek.com/
The partnership package secured with Malaysian Blockchain Week includes:
  • USD 3,000 Bar Crawl Side Event Co-Host slot (market value: USD 5,000)
  • Complimentary upgrade to Gold Sponsor tier (equivalent sponsor value: USD 20,000)
  • One additional main-stage panel speaking opportunity
  • Official Community Partner positioning alongside Gold Sponsors across Malaysian Blockchain Week marketing channels
Bar Crawl Activation Highlights
The Bar Crawl is one of the highest-performing official side events of Malaysian Blockchain Week, attracting approximately 300–400 curated attendees while generating significantly broader reach through social media amplification.
The activation package includes:
  • Opening remarks from each co-host
  • Venue-wide branding placements, including table signage, coasters, and banners
  • Logo placement on wristbands and drink tokens
  • Inclusion in event-related social media promotions
  • Reserved VIP area for representatives and guests
  • Opportunity to display approved promotional materials with calls to action
  • Opportunity to distribute approved branded merchandise to attendees
  • Custom signature cocktail aligned with the participating brand's identity
This partnership provides one of the strongest visibility-to-cost ratios among current event opportunities and offers direct exposure to a highly targeted Web3 audience.

Activation Strategy

Work is currently underway to finalize the on-site activation plan in coordination with the organizers.
Confirmed visibility opportunities include:
  • QR code placement on the Luma registration page
  • QR code placement at the registration counter
  • QR code placement on venue tables
Because the event includes four co-host organizations, wristband branding must remain shared and cannot be dedicated to a single participant.
Crypto giveaways are permitted during the event and are being considered as part of the attendee engagement strategy.

Philippine Blockchain Week
Dash has also been confirmed as an Event Partner for Philippine Blockchain Week, one of the largest blockchain conferences in Southeast Asia.
The Philippines remains one of the most crypto-friendly and clearly regulated markets in the region, making it strategically important for expanding Dash's real-world payments use case.
Participation provides direct access to founders, exchanges, regulators, payment providers, and ecosystem leaders across Southeast Asia, creating opportunities for partnerships, integrations, and broader regional adoption.

Pizza DAO Days

Bitcoin Pizza Day took place on May 22, and Dash showed up across 5 cities. This is one of the highest-leverage co-marketing moments in crypto - a globally recognized day with 460+ events worldwide that the Web3 community already cares about.

Locations:
We were a partner at multiple Pizza DAO Days across the region. Each event brought in around 60–70 attendees (the Malaysia edition may have been larger). Our participation was consistent across all locations - contributors were present, sponsorship was evenly distributed, and as a post-event activation we are running a Dash giveaway/raffle. We sponsored three events directly, and our contributors attended two others.

All participants created Dash wallets and included their Dash wallet addresses in their applications. This allowed us to introduce people to Dash and provide hands-on experience with using the Dash ecosystem. All rewards also were paid out in $Dash, giving participants direct experience with receiving and using the cryptocurrency.
A highlight: our CTO Sam attended the Bangkok Pizza Day in person. He engaged with attendees, talked about Dash, listened to what people are building, and got a real feel for what's happening in the ecosystem on the ground. That kind of direct contact between the core team and community is always valuable and doesn't happen often enough.

SEA Blockchain Week

Dash joined SEABW as a Community Partner - being on the ground at the region's flagship blockchain event is non-negotiable for any project serious about SEA.

Design and Marketing Production
Special thanks to Ermakow, who is doing an enormous amount of work - presentations, merch, booths, event collateral, and more. He responds quickly and keeps our visual quality consistent across every region we operate in.
In a crowded market, presentation quality directly affects how seriously partners take us. Professional materials shorten the time from first meeting to integration.

Key Partnerships - BD Results

Our ongoing presence at events and conferences generates a significant volume of inbound leads - potential hub leads, new market entry points, and partnership opportunities. All of these need proper follow-up to convert.

The value of this work is visible in what past trips have already produced:
Let's Exchange and Exolix
Both relationships started at conferences, developed in person, and are now active, ongoing partnerships.
LetsExchange: https://x.com/letsexchange_io/status/2061810075165974648
Exolix Roundtable:https://x.com/exolix_com/status/2061441109289542136

Joel - thank you for continuing to show up and keep these partnerships alive and active. The spaces you're running are a direct result of the connections we built together on the ground, and it means a lot that you're carrying that forward.

Dexsport
An integration was announced and a full case was published, with posts across all social channels. This one was carefully worked through together with DCG and Joel to make sure everything was done right, and the result speaks for itself. https://x.com/Dexsport/status/2061769925564236032

Xgram Multi-Swap
Dash is now live on Xgram's multi-swap feature, adding another easy on-ramp for users. https://x.com/Dashpay/status/2054194966688088108

EMCD Raffle
Collaboration with the EMCD mining pool community. https://x.com/emcd_io/status/2054578891163914374

BTSE

Is an exchange where Dash is already listed. We are planning co-marketing.

Adalinked
It is a Web3 marketing and media project positioned as a multi-chain platform that amplifies builder and creator stories across ecosystems, runs giveaways, and connects projects with influencers and communities. We are currently in the process of establishing a partnership with them.

New Contacts and Active Leads
Through our conference activity and outreach, we have established contacts at CoinDesk, MEXC, Bitget Wallet, and a number of other players across the ecosystem. Conversations are ongoing. All leads are tracked in our Leads Table, which is continuously updated as new contacts come in and conversations progress.
https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1mgQTORfRUWlO0QW62I8H9EldXXtB1vHQfaF2Wn3hmXw/edit?gid=1663583571#gid=1663583571

PART 2: Plans - Upcoming Work

Lead Management and BD Communications
Our ongoing presence at events and conferences generates a significant volume of inbound leads - potential hub leads, new market entry points, and partnership opportunities. All of these need proper follow-up to convert. For the remainder of June, alongside Philippine Blockchain Week, Dasha will be working through this pipeline - communicating with potential hub leaders, exploring new locations, and progressing active partner conversations.
The value of this work is visible in results already achieved through previous trips - from Let's Exchange and Exolix to Dexsport. Relationships built on the ground, followed up consistently, become real partnerships.
New contacts from recent activity include CoinDesk, MEXC, Bitget Wallet, and others. All active leads are tracked in our Leads Table and updated on an ongoing basis.

Thank you so much. Your support means a lot to us - not just financially, but through your encouragement and kind words as well. We're putting a great deal of effort into this. Our plan is to keep growing the number of people involved in promoting Dash without requiring a proportional increase in the budget.

We've successfully implemented this model in other projects before, and we're confident it can work here too.
