Proposal description
Dasha team DAO Proposal - August 2026
Report and Plans
Executive Summary
Over the past cycle, we attended and participated at multiple major conferences across Southeast Asia, including Philippine Blockchain Week. We gave interviews to national TV, Cointelegraph, CoinGeek, and Women Lead UK. We ran a chess grandmaster activation that generated 50–70 organic mentions. We were upgraded from a panel to a keynote at Malaysian Blockchain Week after organizers reviewed our topics + we were invited as a speaker to 2 events during this week for free. We secured partnerships, co-marketing agreements, and listing conversations with Binance, Coins.ph, Bitazza, LBank, CoinW, Bridgers, Floq Exchange, BTC VPS, and others - while negotiating free legal support for Dash's legalization in the Philippines.
At the same time, we are building infrastructure: a gamified Dash education bot, a Dash Platform certification program, Startup School for tech students and a self-sustaining hub network across Turkey, Nigeria, Malaysia, with Korea, Hong Kong, and the Philippines in preparation.
This proposal funds the team and activities needed to sustain and scale this momentum through August - including presence at Coinfest Bali, and continued global adoption across the world.
Total requested: $14,000
PART 1: Report - Recent Activities
Philippine Blockchain WeekMedia and Interviews
Activation and Visibility
A highlight at our booth: grandmaster chess players took on students in chess matches at our stand. The energy was remarkable and generated significant organic content - videos, photos, and mentions across Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter. Approximately 50–70 mentions across social media from the activation alone.
PBW 2026 photos https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1pTcOIbi-6uAbs-QBOLHUzqWSAxCO9hwM
Full visibility data is accessible only to the Dash Growth Team (Joel), as I do not have direct access to our social media analytics.
I also participated in a panel discussion at the conference. The response was genuinely warm - after the session, people came up to introduce themselves, inspired by what was shared on stage. Several of those conversations turned into real leads and connections.

Everything was posted across Telegram communities and Dasha's personal social media channels. We received reposts from @dashpay.
https://x.com/DariaChernozub/status/2067995743265447944
A notable organic moment: Ape Community PH reposted our content, extending our reach into one of the most active Web3 communities in the Philippines. https://x.com/dariachernozub/status/2070339141888541165
Partnerships and BD Results - Philippines
More results are coming - a lot of conversations are still in progress.

Floq Exchange (Indonesia)
Offer a listing. A priority contact for the Indonesian market.

Returning Dash to their platform after having removed it. Co-marketing agreed.
SwapSpace
Reached out directly asking about co-marketing opportunities. Discussed options and passed to Joel's group for follow-up.
Future Mode (Taiwan)
Secured a free moderation slot for Dasha and Dash. They were originally asking $3,000.

Coinfest Bali
Secured a water station booth for $2,000 instead of the standard $5,000. Negotiations ongoing to add a speaking slot.
Bitazza (Thailand)
Agreed to collaborate on three cases: QR crypto payments sandbox in Thailand, exchange listing pending regulatory approval, and on-ramp/off-ramp integration.
CoinW
Co-marketing proposal received, discussions ongoing.
LBank
Listing done.
Alchemy Pay / Aeon Pay and other partners
Supporting Joel in maintaining active communication where needed. A big thank you to Joel for driving co-marketing actively across all partners.
QR Wallet
We're ready to announce the launch of our great product that allows payments via QR codes using Dash.
PART 2: Plans - August and Beyond
Dasha's Team
This is no longer just Daria and Yarik. We have grown into a small but committed team of contributors who genuinely care about Dash.
We are building a network of independent, self-sustaining hubs: Turkey, Nigeria, with Philippines, Korea and Hong Kong in preparation - operating under a model designed from the start to not depend on DAO funding long-term. It takes time to build the system and to guide people.
On the visibility side: Dasha is invited as a speaker at conferences and side events every month, gives interviews, and consistently delivers activations at a fraction of market price - often 2 to 3 times cheaper than standard rates, through partnerships, negotiation, and lean execution.
Natali - Why She Is Joining
As our activity grows - more BD conversations, new initiatives, partner relationships, and events - so does the need for additional support.
Natali is joining the team to help manage the expanding workload. She will assist with the Dash Startup School, support outreach to potential new masternodes, prepare a proper presentation for them, and take over a growing share of partner communications. With every trip and every conference, the number of active conversations increases — Natali`s role is to make sure nothing falls through the cracks and that Dasha can stay focused on the highest-priority relationships.
Why we need an MNO deck: We have a lot of great resources across different sites - but sometimes people just want one clean doc that tells the whole story.
Draft: https://docs.google.com/presentation/d/1Yj9K-Uuz0xDJUS80EP5bVWrLNI6Kq1GaLhP-jFRD6D8/edit
Why we need partners for the Startup School: to get more visibility and reach more builders from the start.
Draft for partners:

Designer - Why We Need This Role
Our presence is growing across multiple fronts - conference stages, physical booths of varying sizes, partner events, co-marketing, and our own community activations. Each of these touchpoints requires visual materials that represent Dash well. A 12-year-old project deserves to show up beautifully, and that doesn't happen with AI-generated graphics alone.
The designer works on everything visual: booth setups, event branding, video content, and integration of the Dash brand into partner activations. Beyond events, we have a growing number of project-level deliverables - the Startup School needs a landing page and a partner-facing presentation, and we are developing a pitch deck for potential masternode owners. The designer will also contribute to the Dash Platform certification initiative.
Maxim (DevRel) - Role and Deliverables
Maxim joined the team following the Malaysia hackathon, where the connection was made organically. He is now our DevRel lead and the technical backbone of our certification initiative for Dash Platform.
Maxim leads a cross-functional working group that includes Ermakov on design, with oversight from a DCG designer. Within this group, Maxim handles both frontend and backend development of the Dash Platform certification tool. We work with the DCG team in a joint Slack group - Brian and thephez are an important part of this initiative.
Project plan: https://app.notion.com/p/Dash-Academy-bite-sized-education-website-plan-3812548acd59811e8317fc794d72fc23
In parallel, we have built a Telegram bot that educates newcomers - people not yet in crypto - on what crypto is, what Dash is, and why this project is different from everything else in the space.
Link to bot: https://t.me/dashlearntesting_bot
The next step is taking this omnichannel. Newcomers are not on Discord - they are on Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, Telegram, and local platforms specific to each market. We are building toward a version of this tool that meets people where they actually are.
Vonkan - Why We Need This Role
As the number of hubs grows and our partner pipeline expands, so does the operational workload. One area that consistently creates delays is partner listing processes - filling out detailed forms, providing documentation, and following up across multiple channels.
Vonkan has been part of the Dash community for a long time and knows the project inside out. He is now supporting us with listing documentation and has taken on posting and updating Dasha's presence on CoinMarketCap. Division of labour is essential here.
Daria and Yarik - Core Team
The volume of events, invitations, and active leads continues to grow with every trip - and that growth is intentional.
The Philippines trip delivered strong results. Vietnam delivered across multiple fronts. Malaysia is this month. We have been invited to Bali (Coinfest, Aug 20–21).
Beyond planned trips, Dasha attended SuperAI Singapore at her own expense to understand what crypto and AI players are building at the intersection of these industries. As always, Dasha was there in Dash merch and representing the project.
In Malaysia, beyond Malaysian Blockchain Week, Dasha has been invited to two additional events: Ultra Web3 and The Onchain Shift (Universe Pro, July 20). She has also been invited to a startup conference in Danang at the end of August.
A particular highlight: after reviewing the proposed topics, the Malaysian Blockchain Week team upgraded Dasha's slot from a panel to a keynote. A strong signal of the quality of the content and the trust being built with regional organizers.
The pattern is clear: the more we show up, the more we get invited back. Inbound invitations are increasing, and so is the lead volume that comes with them. This is exactly why Natali is joining - the pipeline is real and it needs to be managed properly.
On the content side, we have established a new posting process across all social media channels - not just Twitter, but the full stack. This came together through close collaboration with DCG and Joel and is now a functioning, repeatable workflow across our decentralised team.
Beyond the main conferences and planned activations, Dash has become a consistent presence across a wide range of community events and gatherings - so many that it is increasingly difficult to list them all. https://luma.com/ic8g28h6.
Recent examples include a Dash and Team1 football watch party, a P2P Community Lab learning track, DFL24 private dinners, and many others. Dash finds its way into the room wherever the right people are.
https://x.com/dariachernozub/status/2071772184029409597
The DAO Builders ambassador tool initiative is currently being updated - we will share results once ready. No additional budget is being requested for this at this time.

Coinfest Asia - Bali, August 20–21
Coinfest Asia is one of the world's largest crypto and Web3 festivals, now in its fifth year - expanding across five beach clubs along Melasti Beach coastline as a single integrated venue. It's the kind of event everyone in the space goes to, and we will be there.
We secured a branded water station booth for $2,000 - down from the standard ask of $5,000. The mechanic is simple: attendees get water in exchange for content featuring Dash and a follow. High foot traffic, natural interaction, zero pressure. Negotiations are ongoing to add a speaking slot on top.
