How long have you been actively involved with Dash and the Dash community and in what ways have you helped the network previously?
I have been an active member of the Dash community since 2017, focusing on community-building, business partnerships, and advocacy efforts to expand Dash’s presence. From 2017 to 2022, I managed the Dash Brazil proposal, establishing one of the largest and most engaged Dash communities. Through this role, I helped spread awareness across Brazil and beyond by creating content for social media, producing step-by-step tutorials, hosting podcasts, and engaging in numerous interviews and events.

My work also extended into organizing and promoting the "Venezuela and the Cryptocurrency Revolution" documentary, which brought global attention to Dash’s use case in regions facing economic challenges. Moreover, I facilitated Dash’s listing on five major exchanges in Brazil, enhancing its availability and reach within LATAM. As a spokesperson for Dash LATAM, I represented the community at over 30 events, contributing to the visibility and growth of Dash throughout the region.

What made you decide to apply for the Supervisor role?
I’m a current DIF supervisor running for re-election. Having witnessed Dash’s impact firsthand and contributed extensively to its adoption, I am committed to continue the DIF’s mission as a Supervisor. I believe that with my understanding of Dash’s goals, my regional insights, and my established network of partners, I can continue to drive the foundation’s strategic efforts. This role allows me to leverage my experience in building relationships and managing projects to ensure that Dash’s potential is realized through impactful investments and partnerships.

What skills, attributes, and or relevant background / experience make you a good fit for the DIF Supervisor role, and why should MNOs vote for you?
My background aligns strongly with the requirements for a DIF Supervisor. Over the years, I have built over 100 partnerships, integrations, and business development initiatives for Dash across Brazil and LATAM. Some highlights include securing partnerships with key entities such as Edge Wallet, 88i.io Insurtech, BitfyApp wallet, and the C2Law firm. I also played a role in the success of the Valkyrie Trust Partnership and helped bring Dash Direct (CrayPay) into the fold.

In addition, I manage the DIF's social media presence and host the occasional DIF Podcast, engaging with established partners and discussing developments. My deep familiarity with Dash’s ecosystem, coupled with my strategic vision and relationship management skills, uniquely position me to help drive the DIF’s objectives. MNOs should vote for me because I have a proven record of promoting Dash’s mission through real-world applications, dedicated advocacy, and relationship-building, all of which are crucial for the DIF’s continued success.

Any additional information or statements?

Beyond my core responsibilities, I have attended over 15 events, identifying new partnership opportunities for the DIF. I bring both a strategic mindset and hands-on approach to my work, combining industry knowledge with an extensive network in the crypto space. I am committed to seeing Dash succeed globally, and as DIF Supervisor, I aim to expand on our current successes by introducing high-value, impactful partnerships that benefit the entire Dash network.

Apparently people who are neither MNOs nor proposal owners cannot comment on proposals here. Since we can't assume that every candidate is an MNO, please use the Dash Forum at the link above for more feedback.

General Election Info

As announced in our recent blog post, we are asking for community input on candidates for DIF supervisor.

The DIF normally has six supervisors, who are elected for one or two-year terms as explained in our post here. The supervisors originally elected to two-year terms will remain on the board, however  Michael, who would have been up for re-election, chose not to extend and is not running again. For the open seats, we only have two candidates.

That means some seats will remain unfilled. This is unfortunate, but also not a showstopper for the DIF. We are legally able to fully function with fewer than six supervisors.

So we're asking the community to carefully consider the candidates based on their merit, not on the need to fill slots. Please vote YES or NO. Any candidate with more Yes than No votes will become supervisor, candidates with a negative balance or a tie will not. The 10% threshold for funding proposals does not apply to confirming candidates. ABSTAIN votes have no effect on the tally, they're essentially wasted.  The payout address used for this proposal is the regular DIF budget address as can be confirmed in any block explorer. We are asking for 1 Dash to potentially cover the proposal fee. Should the candidate not get elected, the DIF will cover the expense, so no candidate has any personal financial benefit or loss from the election.

So , DIF was dormant, and you elected again the person used to be in charge and who kept the DIF dormant all this time.

And this person didn't say a tiny word during the elections.

If the voters are not government agents who want the destruction of the DIF, how much stupid should they be in order to vote like this?

What made you change your vote?

As long as there is new information, what caused you to change from the one opinion to another.

Was a deamon, or an angel?
