Proposal description

Hello, I'm Alex from Russia - FB profile

More information about DASH telegram bot in my pre-proposal.

As I mentioned in the thread Telegram messenger is one of the most cross-platform messengers with an open API. P2P transactions is the easiest way to buy/sell dash in Russia and CIS.
I had combined these two opportunities and have an idea to develop Dash telegram bot with the p2p exchange (escrow) and the other useful features.
I think it's very important for all Dash community.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6Qdtimef5AU in this video interview with Amanda Alex-ru mentioned how important Telegram is to the Russian Dash community, and how he needs help to nurture the Community by supporting the endeavours of others.

Welcome to beta-testing bot (worked on dash testnet) https://telegram.me/devtempbot
You can activate vouchers https://goo.gl/CNQSMj
If all vouchers has been activated and you wannt more, ping me on telegram @balt_dash or @alexismile

Already done:

Core bot functionality:
Dash internal wallets functionality,
Full P2P exchange platform with escrow transactions(testnet),
Eng localizations(partly, without proofreading by native speaker),
Masternode monitoring(mainnet)

Additional functionality:
admin panel and ability to answering to User tickets,
vouchers functionality
We already run beta-testing for RU auditory, I wrote about this in the RU thread proposal. There are lots of bugs has been found and fixed.

Future steps:
Running beta-testing for English auditory in testnet and the final one in the mainnet
Integration of payment reception through Russians cryptoATM
I'm planning to create website that will show bot stat such as count of transactions, exchange volume and so on.
Wiki guide how to work with orders, wallets, vouchers, masternodes
Preparation of proposal for working with Russian payment systems througn WallOfCoins (shared buy/sell orders through the WallOfCoins web-interface and vise versa)

Hi guys, I can confirm that I've seen the activity of this proposal's owner for a long period now (first it was MN-monitoring Bot and now he is testing some basic p2p-exchange Telegram bot).

I can confirm, that Russian Dash Telegram-chat has become the main channel for Dash Russian community in 2017 - we have 981 Members in it now.

I can confirm, Russians are using Bitcoin Telegram-bot to make p2p Bitcoin exchanges actively (Bitcoin-Telegram-p2p-bot has chat with 1845 members in it), but that bot doesn't support Dash, so we don't have such solution for Dash yet for Telegram.

What I cannot confirm - if his bot is good or not. Sorry, I don't have any personal experience with p2p Exchanges so can't judge about it... But I've heard some positive comments (and some negative also) from russian testers of this bot.

Also, I can not estimate is this price fair or not - it is not the area of my competence... I also have heard good and bad reaction of russian community regarding price of this bot.

To me, that sounds like it is worth the risk.

I am willing to push forward the Dash community and outreach in Russia. If it goes well, perhaps he submits another one to do all the other social media bots. Note that this is much more than a bot, and thus more complex and more expensive to implement. Yes for me.

YES from me.

I saw Amanda talk to Alex RU on the spotlight series recently.

He mentioned how important Telegram is to the Russian Dash community, and how he needs help to nurture the Community by supporting the endeavours of others.

It's admirable and important work.

Let's support these people even if Telegram is not particularly important in our part of the Dash community.

We are a big and diverse international family.

Let's support people trying to do positive things for Dash in markets we cannot normally influence.

This isn't a tip bot. It's basically mycelium local trader for DASH.

What's with all the no votes? We need attention on our bots, and I do hope, as was proposed in the pre-proposal thread, that this person will be able to fix our reddit bot and add Dashius support (sp?)

I agree. Maybe its the focus on usa thing, telegram isnt used much in the usa so its not important. No offence, but its a big world and its all equally good for everyone if dash gets another interest group.

Telegram is big in Russia and DASH interest seems to be growing there as well. Yobit.net continues to have huge volumes and it is based in Russia.

The way I look at it is this is basically mycelium local trader but for DASH and built on Telegram. The test not be linked above is pretty slick as well.

Voting yes

I have no idea who you are. Apparently you are in the (Russian) Telegram but that's not a community that I've been a part of. Can some people in the Dash community vouch for you? Can you show us how we can know that you are even capable of delivering this product (are you a developer)?
This is a pretty expensive proposal regardless and I'm not sure I see a positive value here yet.

Hello TroyDASH, yes, Alex-ru is in Ru Dash community and can vouch for me. I have a conversation about this bot and he'll support me when I started beta-testing on Russian-speaking people.
I'm business analyst / junior dev. And other developer in outcource.

You can also test bot. follow the googledoc link and activate voucheer.
Thank you for your questions.

I think this is way too expensive for a bot, the slack bot cost only 2,150 usd (around 225 dash at 9.55 dls/dash)
https://www.dashcentral.org/p/slack-tipbot-com-eng
I also don't even know if there is an actual demand for this.

Personally, I don't telegram is a very widely used platform and I don't think it is worth the 8k requested. If it was a different service (Youtube, twitter or something) I would reconsider.

Also for future reference I never saw your pre-proposal, I mainly check the Dashpay subreddit for my dash news, so consider cross posting there in the future to get more eyes on your proposal.

Well, im the first to vote yes. I dont know how hard it is to create a telegram bot but i would like to see one built. I agree with other comments that other bots are needed as well, but it didnt stop me saying yes to this. Other bots will probably get a yes if they look serious as well.

Thank you for "yes" vote :)

You can also test bot. Follow the googledoc link and activate voucheer.

I followed the link. Indeed, it is enough to show me that it will work. In fact it is more than i expected. The thing i like about this is that it is truly peer2peer. And i think even though it is not well known in the usa it will be seem by hundreds of thousands around the world, at least.

Pre-Proposal: DASH telegram bot
https://www.dash.org/forum/threads/pre-proposal-dash-telegram-bot.13466/#post-120209

This is a pretty cool looking little bot, it does quite a bit. However….
We need a lot of tipbots built right now but I must say a 8k+ telegram tipbot is last on my list. First on my wish list would be a YouTube Tipbot and then a Twitter and Disqus Tipbot. YT and Disqus tipbots have been done before with btc and even Doge (every dog has his day) had a twitter tipbot, unfortunately it just recently passed/died on Feb 1st 2017, RIP.

I need an army of tipbots for the Dash Force Swarm and Mod Squad and the community at large. I would be happy to vote 8k+ for a complete social media tipbot package. I may just start a Dash Force DAO competition/contest proposal to see who can be the first to deliver us a comprehensive solution to our dire tipbot crisis ;)

Maybe that is you?

Yeah it should effectively work as a tipbot too. Like I said, "it does quite a bit" of stuff. It would be nice to add to our arsenal but just not sure it is worth 8K+ right now, it is cool though. If there is a lot of Dash left on the table at the end of the month i will probably vote for it, balt said Alex-RU vouched for him so i'm willing to give it a shot, just seems expensive and would not be at the top of my to do list right now. I'm am glad he updated the description to add everything that is planned and where all the money is going.

How can identify user comment to donate dash I don't know. Twitter and Disqus more easiest for developing
Reply

You mean little tipbots for Email, FB, Youtube, Twitter, Reddit, Disqus.
They have functionality register|info|balance|account
tip @user amount DASH - user donate
withdraw address amount DASH and so on?

Sounds great. I can. What if accounts can be blocked from user spam?

Hello, Unchained

Telegram bot not a tipbot. it's an exchange, with peer-to-peer escrow trancactions ano other useful functions. You may offer to modify telegram bot within this proposal.

You can also test bot. follow the googledoc link and activate voucheer.
Thank you for your questions.
