Proposal description

Conferences

Dasha plans to attend two key conference directions focused on builders.

The first is South East Asia Blockchain Week in Bangkok, Thailand. (https://seablockchainweek.org/)

The second is a series of builder-focused events in Vietnam. (https://www.web3builderssummit.com/) (https://davas.vc/) (https://unchainedsummit.com/)

Both directions are highly relevant for Dash at this stage, as our priority is to grow the number of builders working with Dash Platform. Currently, this area is underdeveloped, and both DCG and Joel have highlighted the importance of focusing on developer adoption and real use cases.

Thailand - Bangkok

South East Asia Blockchain Week was recommended by a local blockchain community. According to them, the event gathers a strong builder audience and includes multiple side events where deeper networking and ecosystem interactions happen.

In addition, the conference brings together participants from across Southeast Asia, which creates an opportunity to connect with representatives from multiple countries in one place.

This is exactly how we previously met the Malaysian team in Bangkok, which later led to organizing a cost-efficient hackathon together. This demonstrates the real value of such trips.

Vietnam

Vietnam will be our first focused trip to this region.

We have already identified several strong local communities through existing connections. The goal is to attend their events, engage directly with builders, take speaking opportunities where possible, and establish relationships within the local ecosystem.

Based on prior experience, Vietnam has a very strong builder community. For example, Solana Superteam Vietnam consistently produces one of the highest numbers of hackathon projects. This makes it a high-potential region for Dash Platform adoption.

Budget (https://docs.google.com/document/d/1L2pgrWy8JkXrFGGWGZxRm0AvzEYuSLkPenr_MLs4l1M/edit?tab=t.0)

Additional Notes
Given the current Dash price and limited budget, organizing our own event in Thailand is not a priority at this stage.

However, Vietnam presents a more cost-efficient environment, and it is likely that we will organize our own event there. This initiative will be submitted as a separate proposal to keep budgets independent and allow flexible voting decisions within the DAO.

This separation ensures that each initiative can be evaluated on its own merits, especially in a constrained budget environment.

Disclaimer
Travel expenses for May are being booked in April to secure lower prices.
This allows us to minimize costs and use more of the budget for actual ecosystem initiatives rather than higher last-minute ticket prices.

Dasha is actively working on securing speaking opportunities within both the main events and side events. She represents Dash with full branding across all activities.
She takes every opportunity to speak in open mic formats and participates in interviews whenever available. She also conducts short interviews herself to create content for Dash social media, including short-form videos and reels.
There is already a successful example of this approach from the Russian-speaking community, and Dasha plans to continue and scale this initiative for the English-speaking audience.
She consistently posts content from conferences on her personal social media, which is then amplified through DashPay channels, increasing overall reach.
Additionally, Dasha collaborates with partners and other ecosystem participants to create shared content. These partners and projects often repost, tag DashPay, and tag her, helping expand visibility beyond the immediate network and generating additional organic reach.

DevRel

Dasha supports Pshenmiс in growing his presence as a speaker within the Russian-speaking Web3 community. This includes inviting him to podcasts, conferences, and meetups, as well as identifying and creating opportunities where he can be integrated as a speaker.
A full report on recent activities and results will be provided at the end of this proposal.

Together with Pshenmiс, we also run regular RU meetups for the Russian-speaking Dash community.

Dasha coordinates the team involved in these initiatives, including the designer (Ermakov) and V_O_NCAN, who supports with the announcements and community communication.

Dasha  also works on speaker preparation, including interview questions, talk topics, and positioning. This is a significant part of the work and requires ongoing effort to ensure high-quality representation of Dash across different platforms.

Dasha personally distributes and promotes all of these activities across Russian-speaking crypto, Web3, and blockchain communities, significantly expanding Dash’s visibility and reach.

Business Development

All of my contacts are tracked in a shared leads table, which requires ongoing follow-up and collaboration. This is not a one-day process, but continuous relationship building.

For existing partners where Dash is already integrated, we focus on activating co-marketing efforts. You will find examples of successful collaborations in the report below.

We actively involve Joel in these processes, helping organize spaces and coordinate joint publications. Together with Yarik, we distribute these activities across local communities.  Also pass all relevant information to V_O_NCAN for posting in local Twitter channels, as well as for translations and distribution within Russian-speaking communities.

Where Joel is not able to engage directly, I help move the process forward and keep communication active.

Please refer to the table titled “Leads” (https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1t3485rSZA54iecCHbjBJ_zSbmPOQxPXLNCCyrEI_y_w/edit?gid=0#gid=0) for up-to-date statuses on both current and potential partners.

With potential partners, we explore ways to collaborate with Dash. I consistently aim to secure free co-marketing opportunities rather than paid placements, which requires negotiation and strong positioning of the Dash brand.

We also plan to actively work with influencers, events, and partners that require technical integrations. For this, I have created templates and onboarding materials to help partners easily enter the Dash ecosystem.

Here is a link to my Notion with clear instructions for different types of collaborators: (https://www.notion.so/Local-Community-Representative-Guide-31e2548acd59805a91c7e723d6c7264a)

Currently, this information is not clearly presented on the official website, where it may seem that only builders can submit proposals. There is no clear list of ecosystem needs, so we are actively translating these opportunities to the market and helping external partners understand how they can work with Dash.

Budgets for these initiatives are also tracked in the “Leads” table (https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1t3485rSZA54iecCHbjBJ_zSbmPOQxPXLNCCyrEI_y_w/edit?gid=0#gid=0), where notes indicate where funding will be required. We plan to distribute these initiatives across different months and submit proposals as the budget becomes available, ensuring efficient allocation of resources and avoiding overspending within a single cycle.

SMM and Community

Previously, we tried to rely on different contributors managing Dash social channels, but now we handle content creation for our initiatives independently.
Dasha writes all posts herself and provides structured content documents adapted for each platform to Joel, Decentralized Creative, and others responsible for distribution.
It is important to note that there is currently no access to the main Dash LinkedIn account, as it was lost with a previous team member. For now, content is being posted via the DCG LinkedIn, but this issue is being addressed and needs to be resolved.
She also participates in Joel’s Spaces whenever possible, although the timing is often late for her time zone in Thailand.
In parallel, Dasha actively manages her own social media. She prepares content both for DashPay channels and for her personal accounts, and has recently started creating content for Pshenmic’s social media as well, including LinkedIn and Twitter.
All messaging is adapted across platforms, including Facebook, Discord, Twitter, Instagram, Reddit, and Telegram, ensuring consistent and broad distribution of Dash-related content.

This is a shared achievement - half Artem’s contribution and half of Dasha’s. Artem Nur will be submitting his own proposal, so please make sure to support it - he is actively contributing a lot to Dash.

Daria and Yarik actively participated in preparation, coordinating the work of Artem, Nik, Pshenmiс, Ermakov, and V_O_NCAN. We actively promoted the events, supported audience acquisition, and coordinated the entire process.

Daria also spoke at a small crypto breakfast on Koh Phangan. Despite the intimate format, there was genuine interest in Dash, and we identified two potential partners. We are currently in discussions to develop these partnerships.

Discussion: Should we fund this proposal?

This proposal, same as the many dozens of similar previous proposals, will do nothing to help global adoption or price. The greatest and most effective marketing is a rising price and high rank.

Vote for my proposal which will lock up another ~580,000 dash in masternode collateral, greatly reducing monthly selling pressure, make dash a better investment and store of value, all of which will improve price, rank, and global adoption.

I’d rather be working than arguing with these strange comments, but I’ll clarify one last time

Dash has the Dash Platform, and it needs to be promoted to developers. Your proposal will not attract developers to the ecosystem

Dash also has a vision of becoming a payment tool for everyday life. Achieving this requires extensive business development - working with merchants, merchant service providers, e-commerce platforms, wallets, DEXs, and other partners

It also needs to be cheaper to pay with Dash than with traditional currencies. Otherwise, people won’t bother installing a wallet or buying Dash

We must focus on real use cases where other payment methods are unavailable. For example, digital nomads without local visas or bank accounts - in such cases, Dash becomes a practical and valuable payment solution
