Proposal description
Part 1
- Binance Blockchain Week - Dubai, December 3–4
- Bitcoin MENA - Abu Dhabi, December 8–9
- Global Blockchain Show - Abu Dhabi, December 10–11
Additionally (not included in the budget, provided as a bonus):
- Solana Breakpoint - Abu Dhabi, December 11–13, 2025
Why should Dash participate in conferences?
1. Major industry players are present with physical booths, making it far easier to connect with them than through online outreach. This includes marketing teams, business development, and listing departments.
2. Conferences offer opportunities to give interviews to media outlets at no cost.
3. Influencers, traders, Web3 enthusiasts, and community representatives from different regions attend these events - providing a chance to introduce Dash to new audiences.
4. Conferences allow us to create real, non-AI content from high-profile events. This energizes the community and significantly boosts engagement across social media.
Comment: The conferences are still ongoing, but one interview has already been given to a major Hong Kong media outlet, Techub News, with two more interviews agreed upon. In addition, initial connections have been established with representatives from Circle (USDC), CoinMarketCap, Alchemy Pay, Mighty Academy, Aster, and 1inch.
I actively share my work with Dash across my social media platforms.

It’s also worth noting that I distribute content within the Dash community and stay in close contact with the teams managing Twitter and Instagram, so my content regularly appears across the official Dash channels as well.
Part 2
I previously launched ambassador programs and local community hubs for Super Protocol and ICP. I would like to apply this experience within Dash. Together with Yaroslav, we have started preparing the first stage of an ambassador program (a budget-friendly pilot version to test this approach for Dash) - including the concept, platform selection, task design, budget estimation, and resource planning.
We will present the draft of the Ambassador Program as a pre-proposal next month.
Part 3
Getting contacts at conferences is only the first step. What truly matters is continuing the dialogue afterward: negotiating listings, discussing joint marketing activities, and communicating Dash’s current progress. This is full-cycle business development work. Below are the results achieved so far and the interim outcomes of these efforts.
- Established communication and began ongoing negotiations with representatives from Tether, Bitget, CoinW, Bitkub, LBank, Bitcoin.com, and GRVT. Joel is included in the threads. The required documentation and data for these conversations are still being collected, and this work is actively in progress.
- Preparing joint marketing activities with MEXC Thailand.
- Gave five interviews: three already published, with content repurposed across Dash social channels.
- Actively participate in Dash Spaces and maintain regular communication within the community.
- Organized a 50-person meetup during Token2049 (260 registrations) - with zero budget.
- Built a partnership with Crypto Job List, securing free access for posting Dash-related roles.
- Began work on promoting pshenmic’s team and its development achievements (DevRel) within a build-in-public approach.
- Assisting with the preparation of a long-term collaboration proposal with Cointelegraph (a pre-proposal will be submitted to the Dash community for review).
- Managing outreach to local marketers across Asia to identify the most effective strategy for expanding Dash’s presence in the region in native languages (a similar effort is underway for the CIS region).
- Nearly completed the Dash ecosystem glossary for newcomers - scheduled for release this month.
- Posted the vacancy for pshenmic’s team and currently act as HR support (promotion of the role + first-round screening).
What do we need?
Part 1
Tickets: 21 + 150 USD
Accommodation: 1300 USD
Flights: 970 USD
Local transport + food + ferry: 1300 USD
SIM card: 20 USD
Total: 3761 USD
Part 2 and 3
3000 USD
In total:
6761 USD / 140 DASH
Due to the high volatility of the DASH price, the amount I received last month ended up being approximately 1,000 USD lower than expected.
For this reason, I have slightly adjusted the work-related portion of the budget to compensate for the shortfall from the previous month.

For context, in case folks do not know who I am, I have been with DCG since 2018 in various/multiple roles and, among many other things, I am mostly focused on the mobile wallets and developing partners to build on Platform.
I only just met ravenor while I was at the Global Blockchain show in Abu Dhabi this week. While I have not been actively following this community member, and I cannot vouch for past contributions, I was impressed with her background, demeaner, and overall passion to support Dash. We had a couple of really productive brainstorming discussions in person and via chat and I am excited to work with her to develop a solid plan for developer engagement on the Dash Platform.
I am not going to make this a long rant, but rather just point just 2 things that I hope will encourage people to vote YES for this.
1. There are plenty of funds available for these initiatives; TBH, this area of BD is grossly under funded, especially since growth/marketing/BD has been mostly removed from the DCG budget and much of the past and current proposals have been focused on integrations, payments and regulatory needs (all very important BUT different)... I am not suggesting that all small funding requests should be blindly approved, but I see absolutely no reason why the network should not support this. We NEED people who will be engaging developers in creative ways and this, and future plans noted by this contributor (ambassador program, Dash University (developer accreditation, etc.) is exactly that.
2. This looks like a really nice compliment to the Growth / Marketing / BD proposals because it has a very explicit target, developers. I, personally have not had the capacity or resources to retain independent developers that are willing to build on Platform, but this is crucial as we start releasing many improvements to our SDK's and continue delivering new features on Platform.
PLEASE VOTE YES ON THIS PROPOSAL AND STAY TUNED FOR THE NEXT MONTHS'S PROPOSALS FOR SIMILAR ACTIVITIES.
1. Interim results from my work are described directly inside the proposal itself.
2. In addition, ongoing results are regularly shared through my personal social channels and within Dash community spaces, as well as Dash social media. https://x.com/dariachernozub

During the Token2049 conference, I also had specific coordination tasks from Joel regarding which partners to meet at booths in order to maintain and strengthen existing relationships. Beyond that, I established new communications with several exchanges where Dash was previously delisted. This work continues after the conferences, as relisting discussions require follow-up and ongoing dialogue.
Separately, and without any additional budget, I organized and hosted a community meetup during Token2049. Due to venue capacity, attendance was capped at 50 people, while registrations exceeded 200, and the event was officially listed among the conference side events. Unfortunately, I was unable to organize professional video recording without a dedicated budget. However, the meetup featured well-known and engaging speakers who shared the event across their own social channels:

Across social platforms, the total reach from this activity exceeded 15,000 views.
I appreciate you taking the time to ask and am always happy to clarify or provide additional context where helpful.
Please be vigilant, colleagues.
We need to improve the level of verification of proposals and their reporting. A lot of rubbish is hidden behind beautiful words and sentences.
Regarding my interests: at this stage, my main focus is fully aligned with Dash. Over the past months of working closely with the ecosystem, my priorities have naturally centered around Dash and its long-term development. My work goes far beyond “traveling.” My core strength is not attending conferences as such, but engaging builders and Web3 enthusiasts into Layer 1 ecosystems. This is something I have done successfully in my previous roles, and it is exactly what I am working on now - both at conferences and outside of them.
Just yesterday, I had an in-depth conversation with a representative from DCG, where we discussed my background, current work, and next steps. We are actively preparing an ambassador program. As part of this, I have already drafted onboarding materials for newcomers to the Dash ecosystem, including a glossary:
https://docs.google.com/document/d/1DIdX_DMd2bZQ5ya_I-QElhCXT9apn6YDe8C8FTbDRyE/edit?usp=sharing
In addition, we are exploring a developer certification track for Dash, as well as hackathons.
Regarding conferences: this is not “travel” in the usual sense. My days start early on the conference floor and often continue late into the evening at side events. It is continuous, hands-on work involving dozens of conversations daily. This is where my skill set is strongest. I speak with traders, influencers, builders, media, and marketers, explaining Dash Platform, Dash as a payments solution, and the philosophy and culture of the ecosystem. Many people I meet have not heard about Dash since 2017, so this educational and reconnecting work is essential.
Finally, regarding my broader interests: my primary motivation has always been the development of technology and the creation of new services for companies and people. In this sense, my interests and Dash’s mission are strongly aligned.
I fully agree that proposal verification and reporting quality are important, and I am committed to transparency and clear, measurable progress as this work continues.
Thank you for taking the time to raise these points.
P.S. I would really like to work here on a full-time basis, with a clear role, defined KPIs, and a salary.
I know this person, don't fall for it, it's just a waste of money.
What do you mean waste of time?
We’re preparing a multi-step ambassador program, not a short-term one.
We’re also in touch with media for upcoming publications and have created a beginner-friendly Dash glossary that will be released soon.
