This proposal is to fund Dash's participation in The North American Bitcoin Conference scheduled for January 17th and 18th in Miami. Dash participated in the conference this past January, and through countless one-on-one interactions and a presentation on the second day from Evan, we were able to generate a great deal of awareness and understanding of Dash's unique advantages from the conference attendees.

If this proposal is approved, I will be representing Dash on stage this year, and will be discussing the project's progress, the ever-expanding set of features that make Dash unique, and our plans going forward. I will also no doubt be losing my voice again this year talking to attendees over the two days.

There is a sufficient amount of unused funding this month to lock in a minimal participation level from Dash. If funding allows in the January 4th budget and the network supports it, we may be able to add additional participants or upgrade our sponsorship package to a higher level at that time. At a minimum, @moocowmoo has committed to attend as well.

This proposal will cover the following expenses:
A standard exhibitor booth - 10 feet x 8 feet with a 6 foot table - $3,500 (includes 3 event tickets)
Airfare from PHX to MIA - currently about $475
Baggage check fees for Dash banner - $50 round trip
Conference swag and pamphlets - $250
3 nights hotel on site - ~$280 / night
Ground transporation - ~$100
Total: approximately $5,215

Given that prices typically rise for these costs over time, and the total remaining budget is approximately that exact amount, we plan to simply max out the budget this month by requesting the remainder. If by chance there are a few dollars left over, we'll apply them toward the next conference.

Requested funding is as follows for the December 4th budget cycle:

• 5.00 Dash reimbursement for the proposal cost

Note: Any unused funds from this proposal will be applied toward other conference expenses.
